Former national security adviser John Bolton slammed Sebastian Gorka as a “con man” on Friday, after President-elect picked Gorka to lead counterterrorism efforts in his second term.
“Well, Sebastian Gorka is a con man. I wouldn’t have him in any U.S. government,” Bolton told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins when asked about the choice. “Fortunately, it’s not the highest position he had been mentioned for. But I don’t think it’s going to bode well for counterterrorism efforts when the [National Security Council’s] senior director is somebody like that.”
“And this is why, obviously everybody is now focusing on the top jobs,” he said on “The Source” in an interview Friday. “But the questions of who are the deputy secretaries, who are the undersecretaries, and so on, is also going to tell us a lot about who’s actually running the government.”

That is a good endorsement for Gorka.
Bolton’s only value was for Trump to have him in the background and to make sure whatever foreign government he was dealing with knew that he was prepared to unleash him.

I wonder if Bolton often dreams about blowing up the world. His efforts always seem to be in that direction. Just get him a nuclear war video game and he’ll be ecstatic.
Bolton managed to make Venezuelan dictator Maduro into a super star with the most pathetic western backed coup attempt ever witnessed. Maduro was on his way out without US intervention, and Bolton decides to score an own goal. If you’re gonna neocon, at least be competent at it.
If Bolton is against it, I am for it.
Besides, Sebastian Gorka is no con-man, he is extremely talented and, more importantly, loyal to this country and its people. He will do a damned fine job. Glad he’s back, hopefully he will migrate to a higher position later.
As for Bolton, all he wants is wars. Too expensive, in both blood and treasure, not to mention the (lack of) morality or the downstream effects (everyone hates us). Screw him!
