Ukraine has fired British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles into Russia for the first time, just hours after Putin's nuclear war warning.

Parts of a missile were found in the village of Marine, Kursk, on Wednesday

The fact is that – I have mentioned this, and any expert, both in our country and in the West, will confirm this – the Ukrainian army is not capable of using cutting-edge high-precision long-range systems supplied by the West. They cannot do that. These weapons are impossible to employ without intelligence data from satellites which Ukraine does not have. This can only be done using the European Union’s satellites, or US satellites – in general, NATO satellites. This is the first point.

The second point – perhaps the most important, the key point even – is that only NATO military personnel can assign flight missions to these missile systems. Ukrainian servicemen cannot do this.

Therefore, it is not a question of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It is about deciding whether NATO countries become directly involved in the military conflict or not.

If this decision is made, it will mean nothing short of direct involvement – it will mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries are parties to the war in Ukraine. This will mean their direct involvement in the conflict, and it will clearly change the very essence, the very nature of the conflict dramatically. - Vladimir Putin

Similarly, the Houthis can’t fire their missiles at Western ships without targeting coordinates either

Where do the Houthis get their targeting info?

From Russia!

So by your logic, Putin is already attacking the US

This was also explained by Xi to biden that this was a “red line” for China.

And why not? It is one thing to need intelligence data from satellites (which is not direct involvement) but why could not Ukrainian personnel be given the necessary codes to launch the missiles on their own? One does not give someone car without giving them the keys.

Ukrainians can fly F-16’s but can’t be trained to use NATO missile systems? That whole line of argument is genuinely moronic. Sometimes I think I am losing brain cells just thinking about such stupidity.

Would you have supported direct war with the USSR in Vietnam as the Russians were dumpling the North and the VC?

The Putin Groupies never make sense

Don’t even bother trying

(Notice how they also never talk about all the outside help Russia gets - Iranian drone technicians, NK troops, etc. - but anyone helping Ukraine is grounds for nuclear war!! LOL)

Well, at least we have Neocon McCanuck admitting its a proxy war - which started in Ukraine.

that's some progress towards reality.

Ukraine is desperate. They’ll fire anything you give them. They have nothing to lose. They have already lost.

I think you are missing the point. These missiles require the use of satellites that NATO nations possess. Do you think we would give open use to such systems without any direct oversight?

What are they shooting at? Just empty fields, to make a point? Military targets? I know both sides have gone after infrastructure and Russians after civilian targets. Not sure if Ukraine is also bombing cities.

Talk about not making sense. Why do you talk like this?

To: Rocco DiPippo

No, I love freedom

and so do Ukrainians

but they’re under threat of attacking monsters, just kike Israel is

so they have no choice but to fight back

but it’s always interesting, the way you claim to abhor death and violence, yet you NEVER, EVER say anything bad about the person who started this war, Putin

why is that? hmmm hmmm hmmm ...

Hey, Vlad: Stick with the fore-ordained terminology already!

And by "direct involvement," I guess he means: Just like TWO nuclear powers (Russia and North Korea) and one additional non-nuclear power (Belarus) are already parties to the invasion of Ukraine.

Vlad apparently thinks that THREE (two of which are nuclear powers) to ONE is fair play.

Well, obviously, he doesn't want anyone coming to the aid of the little country that he and his two other tin-pot dictator pals are bullying - That's why he says this.

Are we supposed to listen?

But, in one respect, he's right: It would fundamentally alter the nature of this "conflict." It would namely mean that Vlad now loses even faster.

Yeah, up until the Russian surprise attack against / invasion of Ukraine, the Houthis were regular choirboys.
