We knew that Democrats and swampy Republicans would never just sit back and allow Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to be confirmed as Attorney General for Donald Trump's second administration without a knock-down, drag-out fight, and the shenanigans in the effort to derail the nomination are ramping up. The New York Times reported Tuesday morning that 24 files with "damaging testimony" about Gaetz were obtained by a "hacker," but that so far the hacker has not publicly released any of the information.
An unidentified hacker has gained access to a computer file shared in a secure link among lawyers whose clients have given damaging testimony related to Matt Gaetz, the former Florida congressman who is President-elect Donald J. Trump’s choice to be attorney general . . .

According to the NYT:
The documents include information that is under seal with the Justice Department, which investigated Mr. Gaetz but did not file charges . . .
The hacked information also includes sworn testimony from [Christopher] Dorworth and his wife, as well as testimony from Michael Fischer, Mr. Gaetz’s former campaign treasurer, who is also said to have attended the party. It also contains various supporting material, such as the gate logs showing who entered the property of the Dorworth home on the evening in July 2017 when the two women said the sexual encounter with Mr. Gaetz occurred.

In his deposition, Dorworth said:
“The thing I didn’t really contemplate when this whole thing started was the idea that people would lie themselves into these stories because of Matt’s political celebrity. I truly believe that is what happened.”
On Tuesday, Dorworth said on X that he passed 3 polygraph tests related to his testimony in the case and that "Matt Gaetz did not do this."

It seems more likely someone with access leaked the deposition and then created the "hacker" story. Agreed?
The desperation of “deep state” is showing. “deep state” (democrats and rinos) don’t want to be exposed for their crimes. Anyone paying attention should take names of media and congresscritters calling to stop the appointment. All calling to stop the appointment are likely criminals.
It is obvious that this could not happen without insider help. Who would even know where to look. And they only went for that.
yet more evidence of a weaponized DOJ— incomplete investigations can become ticking time bombs inside a [politicized, corrupt] organization. and btw where is the epstein little black book, along with the epstein island videos? that is to say, the “hacker” seems to have very timely and particular interests. it is almost as if the “hacker” is not a hacker but actually a DOJ insider.

GOP opposition to Trump stemmed from Trump’s desire to end the political feeding at the taxpayer trough....politicians enriching themselves and their families through these agencies.
That is why so many in Trump’s former cabinet opposed him....he did not allow them to go out and sell their office for personal gain.
That is why grifters like McConnell and Collins oppose Trump’s nominees....because their wealth gathering will end.
There was no greater slush fund for enrichment than the Ukraine war funding. It benefitted both Republicans and Democrats equally, hence its bipartisan support.
Pete Hegseth poses a risk to that source of easy money, so they are going to push back on him as well as Gaetz and every other Trump nominee.
Just as these grifters killed JFK because he would not go along with the escalation in Vietnam, they are trying to start a nuclear war with Russia to prevent Trump’s inauguration.
That or they will find a way to kill Trump under the guise of a nuclear or terrorist attack. Then it will be off to war with the rest of us vowing revenge as the Deep State continues its feeding off our hard-earned money.

Cybersecurity breaches are required to be reported to the SEC via form 8-K within 96 hours of detection. If they were actually breached, this form should exist. If it doesn’t, they’re in violation of Federal law. If they weren’t, they’re lying.
Either way, someone has explaining to do. We should FOIA the crap out of them.
If the information was damaging it would be released already.
Everyone is exhausted with it.
