Russian state television showed the countries in Europe that will be hit by nuclear weapons if the war intensifies:
"All it takes is three missiles and British civilization will collapse."
Given their politics and immigration, it’s a short fall.
Given that Britain is now a communist state under Keir Starmer, that might not be such a bad thing.
You cannot tell if a nuclear-capable missile is carrying a nuke or ordinary ordnance.
Policy of the US and Russia says a nuclear-capable missile attack is met with a nuclear response.
Once a single nuke goes off every other nuclear power on Earth will respond.

There have been 2056 nuclear explosions on Earth since 1944.
The majority of them were at a yield greater than the standard warhead yield of today.
There are about 50 warheads that exist and are lost. Most at sea, waiting for the seawater to corrode the container of the plutonium.
The concept around nuclear weapons has always been a mixture of considerations.
1) If you use them, there will be massive retaliation then re-retaliation causing massive casualties.
2) The point of having them is to prevent invasion and threats to national interest. If they fail this task, then they have to be used.
Note Hiroshima and Nagasaki were both airbursts. Not much fallout. Surface bursts make fallout.
Not much of a believer in EMP. The signal strength attenuates at 1/R^2. And it’s line of sight. To get continental coverage, you need an altitude that at the horizon is 1000s and 1000s of miles for the R in 1/R^2. If you try to get the signal strength up, you have to burst lower, and if you burst lower, line of sight is a much smaller chunk of the continent.
Yes, you can use several warhead to try to achieve coverage. But when you start using several, wouldn’t they be better used generating casualties?

The old CCCP and current CCCP are not stupid enough to use nuclear weapons but Putin has been a real SOB since the start of the Ukrainian war. He has threatened nukes countless times and this is, in and of itself totally irresponsible.
Iran on the other hand (assisted by Putin) is quickly approaching a nuclear bomb. The Ayatollas in Teheran do not have the rational mind to hold back when it comes to Allah. That should worry us more than the new CCCP.
