It looks like a communication label. hmmmmm

It just, you know, broke... they don’t make undersea cables like they used to. Probably Chinese.

Looks like a good opportunity for Starlink and Elon Musk. That might have been the point if someone didn't want encrypted communications via underground cable. Force it through Starlink and the encrypted communications could be blocked.

Mynocks. Chewing on the power cables.

This new technology is too complicated, and too vulnerable. Better to go back to something more reliable. And of course I’m talking about carrier pigeons.

I don’t see Russia expanding its war. It can barely manage what it has on its plate now.
I can, however, see NATO or the USA acting alone, trying to scare the European populace into going to war with Russia because Russia is perceived as vulnerable.

The important communications are not on a fiber. They are through radios and sat comms. Although that stuff can be jammed.
There are always carrier pigeons.

Looks like about twenty of your neighbors are gonna be mad at you, maybe...
Had an ATT guy come around last year, informed me that they were removing the phone lines. He took down the line between the house and pole. The old land lines are going away.
