Nearly two weeks after President-elect Donald Trump’s electoral victory, Democrats and pundits alike are still trying to make sense of how Trump swept all seven swing states en route to securing more than 300 electoral votes.
The exit polls reveal the overarching reason behind Trump’s victory. Voters rejected Vice President Kamala Harris’s and Democrats’ left-leaning platform, which doubled down on progressive social issues while largely neglecting the economy.
Instead, Trump’s focus on kitchen table issues such as the economy and immigration was significantly more effective than Harris’s and Democrats’ focus on abortion rights, particularly with young, Hispanic, and Black voters — all of whom Harris needed to win.
Put another way, exit polls show that Democrats failed to correctly read the electorate, even among their core constituencies. They assumed that 2024 would resemble 2022, when the battle over abortion rights drowned out concerns over inflation, boosting Democrats across the country.

IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!..............
Yep, wake up, not woke.
*** They assumed that 2024 would resemble 2022, when the battle over abortion rights drowned out concerns over inflation, boosting Democrats across the country***
Democrats largely believed that inflation was “transitory” because that’s what they were told, and it had just started. Two years later, though….c’mon knuckleheads! People were desperate over which bills to pay.
Shhhhhhhhhhhh
Dont listen to em Dems, it’s only important that you continue support for they/thems to be #1 one on your protected species list along with big city blacks and da poor illegals.
Key word there - Stupid!
Yup! You nailed it. I think Americans got pretty damn tired of the fart-left’s “Hitler” nonsense also. It got childish listening to them. Kind of like listening to drag queens reading bedtime stories.
Have they found the missing 15 million voters yet?
To go woke is to go broke, and now even in politics. Good!!!
Turns out people aren’t that worried about transsexual kids and universal abortion on demand.
Trump beat the cheat gap is what happened. The rats did Steal 4 Senate seats and God knows how many House seats.
In many states, exit polls* only accessed half the voting population as the other half voted early on by mail.
* Assuming they do exit polling the same way they have been doing it for the last 30 years, which I am sure has not changed one bit.
Have they found the missing 15 million voters yet?“
Notice how that story is gone

The useful idiots finally got tired of being the useful idiots.
It’s easy.
We don’t want what the dems/leftists are selling.
Maybe, maybe.
I certainly agree with the thesis of the article, but imagine as a thought exercise if the Dem candidate was a far more attractive and articulate candidate. If you want to say that no such person exists, fine.
Would Kamala have won against a Mitt Romney?
What then?
Scary thought!
That many has to be electronic...
I raised this question with someone recently and the answer I got is 'they're still counting'...🙃
This election should serve as a warning *to Republicans*, both for the mid terms but especially for the next presidential race (JD Vance against whoever), that there must be a HUGE amount of hustle to prevent Democrat cheating.
To explain, the Democrat party is run like a syndicate of organized crime families. They all agree to support the winning families’ candidate. This is how they keep the cheating pressure on *everywhere* at the same time.
However, this time, Kamala-by-Kamala had no big machine backing her, so the end result was much more fair, and Democrats got their collective butts kicked.
However, by 2026 and even more so in 2028, the various families will have reorganized, and all their cheating gambits will be back in place.
