A prominent Seattle minister and homeless activist has been arrested on child sex crime charges, including possession of child pornography, with some victims being as young as five years old. David Bloom, 82, of north Seattle, was taken into custody on Sept. 20. Court documents state that Seattle police detectives found Bloom in possession of multiple images of children engaging in sexual acts alone and with men and women.

Bloom was booked into King County Jail on one count of second-degree dealing and one count of second-degree possession of explicit images of children, CBS 12 reported. He was released on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 19, according to KING-5.

Seattle police launched an investigation back in March after the agency was alerted by Microsoft that a user had uploaded three images depicting minors engaged in sexual activity. Detectives obtained a search warrant to access the internet records, which were traced back to Bloom.

They seem to be everywhere and growing in number. We need more holding prisons and then lots and lots of gallows.

Maybe he did and maybe he didn't. All I know is this is the easiest crime to manufacture. Raid someone's house, take their computer and then insert whatever you want.

This should be a capital crime. Justice demands the death penalty because the pervs
steal innocence which can never be regained, harm which can never be repaired.

Hang 'em. Hang 'em high.

Why did it take the police six months to catch him after Microsoft had alerted them?

because it took them that long to sufficiently plant the evidence... and they had to scrub traceability to the origin of the files.

82 ?

In bygone years we’d call him a “dirty old man” and be done with it.

From the article: “Police interviewed Bloom during which the defendant allegedly admitted to viewing child pornography for the past three to four years, stating he assumed the interview “was an intervention.””

Crowded prisons can be dealt with with judicious use of capital punishment.

He admitted to knowingly possessing the images.

Don’t really even need to raid. Amazing what goes into caches from things that get opened on computers.

I regularly have to delete “follower” requests and even likes because the person has questionable pics on their site.

So delete caches weekly is a good rule of thump

Because it’s Seattle that’s why.

when they get serious about finding the 320,000 plus minors that have been sold, trafficked, murdered or are actively sex slaves now in the Northwest... and whose demise were facilitated by the Harris-Biden administration... I might start caring...

But as it is... the old man may be a perv, but more likely he a perv that has advanced dementia and would admit to being a blue butterfly.

When they start going after the hordes of blue hair non binary witches and lesbians in left coast government smoked out on mushrooms and pot... then I will care more.

I did not see that activist part, but I agree... the lefties on the west coast are eating their own. maybe this guy was selling some of the 320,000 biden-harris-pelousy trafficked children to make a little change on the side.

if they hit paydirt, you will see his relationship to the ‘homeless-activist NGO orgs... downplayed’ but the emphasis on his being a minister... upvoted.

Ordination, is the man ordained by a known religious group?
