With Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on his way out, a MAGA power play amid the fight for Senate leadership is starting to rub some Republicans the wrong way.
After 17 years in the hot seat, McConnell is expected to exit his post at the top of Senate Republican leadership on Wednesday, ending his run as the longest-serving Senate party leader in U.S. history...
...“Senators do not take kindly to having an army of social media trolls attack them,” one unnamed aide told Politico on Sunday, noting that the effort was only “pissing off senators whose votes Rick needs” to win.

Yeah, that could be most definitely. I’ve seen this same story across multiple outlets. In any event, it wouldn’t hurt for us all to contact our respective Senators and express displeasure at the closed voting and our preference for Rick Scott.
Apt description..
No little turtles! Who cares who it pisses off.
“LOL the Hill telling MAGA what we are doing worn.”
It is actually a New Republic article.
I’m actually okay with bogus nomination stories. It persuades the Swamp maybe Trump won’t drain them after all.
Especially until after Wednesday at the WH. It’s a very dangerous assassination scenario.
Is there ANY state where the GOP Senate candidate got more votes than Donald J. Trump? Dave McCormick rode his coattails to a Senate seat in Pennsylvania as did Bernie Moreno in Ohio. DJT won in Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and Arizona while all GOP senate candidates narrowly lost.
“Senators do not take kindly to having an army of social media trolls attack them,”
Translation: We are not pleased with the attention from the plebians.
Rather than focused on a long term national mission they are vain and shallow children completely self-absorbed in their vanities if this reason is the reason for their resistance.
Phonies and con men.
Panem Hates it when the districts talk back.
Those Social Media Trolls put you in power and now unfortuanately have a voice, even in the Sinate.
Those senators must learn quickly that the Republican Part and MAGA are one and the same. The old-line senators must accept the fact or go home!!!

Whose language is this?
Concerned citizens registering their wishes with the ones they have elected are now “social media trolls”.
“Pissing off senators” is how senators view their voters desires once they are safely elected.
As Tucker warns us, the politicians hate us, maily because we vote their sorry asses into office and that knowledge tamps down their grandiose feelings of lordship over us.
Senator Bill Cassidy palmed himself off as a Trump supporter, and immediately after he was re-elected, he voted to impeach Trump.
That's the whole damn problem. The arrogance of these corrupt entrenched azzhole "Public servants" pretending to be special kings.
So they don't believe in Democracy. I thought Democrats were fighting to preserve Democracy. Suddenly, they don't like it so much anymore? They want to protect GOP Senators who don't want to be responsive to their constituents?
“Anyone catch the smug look on Thune’s face when he was telling Trump to “stay out.””
Smug and smirk is pretty much the only looks the left and their little RINO helpers ever have. They are still under the delusion that they’re in charge.
Populism is ascendant and there is nothing they can do about it.
It’s not too early to work on primarying these elitists.
It certainly does smack of elitism.
They seem to think we elected them to run our lives for us.
Nope. They’re supposed to be representing us, not their own special interests.
