The new work rules angered the labor union representing many of the newspaper’s employees, and union action against the change is expected.

Next step is old-style time clocks, so the people working there, including the brass, have to ‘punch-in’ and ‘punch-out’ every day. Make them feel HUMILIATED.

Those who return may think they're safe from layoffs but the Washington Compost doesn't need their propaganda until the next election cycle.
