Control of the House has yet to be determined, as a number of critical races remain too close to call, leaving lawmakers — and voters — waiting to see which party will hold the majority next year.

The sprint to 218 seats, however, is nearing the final stretch, after a handful of additional races were called in the days following election night.

Republicans had secured 216 seats in the lower chamber as of Friday evening, with Democrats trailing at 208 seats, according to Decision Desk HQ. A total of 11 races have not yet been called: Democrats are leading in four of the contests, while GOP candidates are ahead in the other seven.

Way too much time here for the commies to add their special sauce. Billions of dollars down the drain unless they can salvage the House. Keep praying!

Thanks . All of the “live” tallies I was following are difficult to access now, and they had somewhat (very?) different accounting. Do you have a link where these can be seen real time?

A total of 11 races have not yet been called: Democrats are leading in four of the contests, while GOP candidates are ahead in the other seven. If the remaining 11 seats go the way they are stating here, that would be a 223-212 GOP House, yet Decision Desk is currently predicting a 220-215 GOP House. That's a three seat discrepancy between their site and the MSN article.

If the Rats hold the House they will run impeachment again with no hope of conviction in the Senate.

Endless political circuses.

Commenting on my own post, I wonder if MSN has the leads in reverse. Maybe it’s the DEMs ahead in 7 of the remaining undeclared seats, while the GOP is ahead in 4 of them. That would match Decision Desk HQ, and if so, MSN has some crappy editors.

I dont trust CA or even a lib county or area.

It shouldn’t take 10 years to get the results of a simple house race.

Yes, I was exaggerating :)

But CA waiting for ballots that were mailed on electoin day...that’s nonsense...and also..how slow is their mail system?

Abe Hamadeh won the 8th District in Arizona. An outstanding man who was cheated out of the A.G. seat is now heading to the District of Corruption!

This time the senate majority leader needs to dismiss them with an up or down vote with no trial. Kill those silly unserious impeachments in an afternoon.

https://www.270towin.com/2024-election-results-live/house/

Can anyone find two additional House races that favor Republicans and are outside the stealing range of Democrats?

It doesn’t help that all these races are in Democrat controlled states.

Is there a good reason why it takes so long to count the votes? Most states finished counting on Tuesday night. This should be embarrassing for Arizona and California. Those two states deserve to be mocked.

One good thing about John Roberts was that he refused to serve as the presiding officer in the 2nd impeachment trial of President Trump.

I believe that’s true. I wonder what’s going on up there.

I’m wondering if they’re waiting to see if the R gets 50%, because if he doesn’t it goes to ranked choice and the seat can be stolen from him.
