Biden DID make those coming through at ports of entry legal by giving people documents that said they could stay in the USA until they were called in for an immigration hearing. Most of them never go to the immigration hearing, but they are legal until they are called. That usually takes years before it happens.
I never understood why Republicans did not shout this from the rooftops every time Democrats brought up their immigration bill. It was not a bill to stop the invasion. It was a bill to hire more Immigration officials to process the people faster into the country so there would not be any visual of mobs at the border.
Maybe Trump can take the 84,000 new IRS agents and make them immigration magistrates. They can then deny asylum to people who are not fleeing political persecution which practically none of these invaders are doing. Dishonest NGO’s taught them how to ask for asylum.
