The Biden-Harris Race-Preference Regime

Tuesday’s election was notable for its national turn to the political right, and believe it or not that was true even in states governed by the left. Voters in California, Oregon and elsewhere used direct democracy to reject several bad ideas while adopting sensible reforms.

Boeing Co. said late last month it will close its DEI department as it reduces its overall employee head count by 10%. The airplane maker joins such companies as Ford Motor Co., Tractor Supply Co., Caterpillar Inc., John Deere and Toyota Motor Corp. that have reconsidered corporate DEI teams as well as equity programs and race-based hiring. Many have rolled back their policies at the prompting of conservative Robby Starbuck, who has collected details about some corporate policies and threatened to release them to the public.

The companies recognize the public relations downside of overt hiring based on race. They also know that after the Supreme Court’s 2023 Students for Fair Admissions ruling that outlawed racial preferences, they may face legal risks. News flash: So does the government.

In a report titled “Equity Everywhere,” the group Do No Harm reviews the DEI policies of federal agencies. From the Department of Defense to the Marine Mammal Commission, it documents dozens of examples of overt racial preferences in more than 80 federal entities. The information comes from publicly available “Equity Action Plans” undertaken to comply with Biden Administration priorities.

At the Commerce Department, the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) “provided $2.62 million in Federal Procurement Supplemental awards . . . to expand contracting opportunities to minority business enterprises.” The Connecting Minority Communities Pilot Program also “provides $268 million in grant funding to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), and Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) . . . to increase digital literacy

The WSJ says this is a cleanup opportunity for The Trump Administration? Interesting. As far as I can tell, Trump has been the only one fighting back against the communist takeover of America in any meaningful way for many, many years. If this fight was left to the likes of The WSJ and The GOP we’d all be well on our way to living in a communist gulag.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink

You can give a minority a job but you can’t make her work
