Hezbollah's leader, Naim Qassem, has said in a televised address that the militant group would consider ceasefire negotiations if Israel halts its "aggression."

...the strikes were aimed at Hezbollah facilities. Despite the airstrikes, Beirut's airport continues to operate, and national carrier Middle East Airlines has maintained its commercial flights. [because Israel didn't hit civilian facilities]
The strikes come after Hezbollah has already reported significant casualties from ongoing confrontations with Israel, with the Lebanese Health Ministry stating that over 3,000 people have been killed and approximately 13,600 wounded in Lebanon alone since the outbreak of hostilities.
Alongside the airstrikes in Lebanon, the Israeli military announced an expansion of its ground offensive in northern Gaza. The operation now includes areas within Beit Lahiya... where... Hamas militants have regrouped...

Meanwhile, Israel's Parliament passed legislation early Thursday allowing the deportation of Palestinian family members accused of supporting or knowing about terrorist activities, including Israeli citizens.

It's been a little over a year since Hamas led the deadliest Palestinian militant attack in Israel's history on Oct. 7, killing some 1,200 people and taking roughly 250 hostages. Nearly 100 people remain in captivity, less than 70 of whom are believed to be alive.

G’night!
It’s doubtful the terrorists are truly committed to real peace.
But it can be said the election of President Trump can and will have peaceful results in Israel and Ukraine.
Even before he is sworn in.
Now is your chance Israel. No one is in charge in DC until Jan 2025. Europe will sit on their butts and do nothing. Asia does not care. Now is your chance to decapitate the snake.
Exactly, although I doubt Israel gives a flying one whether anyone tells them they need to stop and negotiate some more, and agree to the two-state (final) solution.
Yeah, doubtful, lol, they don’t want peace. Even if they prevailed and annihilated Israel, they’d continue to kill us or anyone else who they are told by their Iranian Shiite-heads is an enemy.
Kill with deadly strike
Try to get the remaining hostages back. If you can’t, kill everything, including the ideology.
No, every time Israel start winning the Arabists at the US State department goes into melt down and DC pulls the plug. We have never once held their coats and let them clean house.
Now, the paralyzing effect on in world politics with no one at the helm in DC, along with Shia Islam world being afraid of a bellicose Sunni Iran, the fracture in the Muslim world give Israel a window. The Arabs want to see the Persian’s beat down some. If Israel does it for them, they might send out PR salvos but they will do nothing.
Israel got carte blanche when the deep thinkers at the mullahcracy made a direct attack on Israel. There was no way Israel wasn't going to respond.
Israel had also retaliated to both direct attacks by the Houthi a-holes in Yemen, while those jerks continued (until Trump won reelection) to conduct piracy against the world's most important shipping lane.
It's easy to imagine their telling DC, you let it get broke, you fix it.
The spineless Eurotrash are the ones most inconvenienced, yet they have done nothing. Biden did nothing because he didn't want to "offend" Tehran.
And now the Biden junta is a lame duck. There's literally no constraint on Israel, and if necessary, they will finish off their existential enemies alone.
Either give us what we need, they are sure to have told the junta, or we'll nuke the turbans right off those Shiite-heads.
Hezbollah wanted war
Hezbollah got war
Hezbollah now gots da war buyer’s regret
Congratulations, Hezbollah
You got what you wanted
Moral of the story. Sucks to be said terrorist, Iran funded, (ie. DEMOCRAT), band of flea bitten curs.
They just don’t get it. They finally went too far this time.
They are that a cage death match with the Israelis they always claimed they wanted.
This ends in WWII defeat and complete surrender.
Has anyone else seen the reports of additional US military assets being moved into the ME? According to these guys, more B-52’s and other US military are heading in. With an attack by Iran expected at any time(?), they think this is supposedly an attempt at deterrence?

There are similar reports on other outlets, but I’m not seeing any from major news organizations. So, hmmm...
Unfortunately we have a whole lot of assets in the ME. We have had them for years. People deploy, other people get sent out to relieve them. It happens all the time. I would watch the carrier battle groups. IF they send more of them to the ME that is a very bad sign.
Meanwhile, muzzlimes are harassing and harming Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam. So you can immediately identify their “peace overtures” as totally fake, worth what every other “peace overture” they’ve made in the past is worth—not a red cent.
Sorry this ain’t your daddy’s war!
“Hezbollah Signals Ceasefire Talks as Israel Strikes Beirut”
fine: Israel should accept a ceasefire with Hezbollah only AFTER Hezbollah does the following:
1. all Hezbollah members and associates present themselves to the IDF for identification and surrender and lay down their arms in IDF facilities.
2. provide the IDF with locations of ALL Hezbollah military facilities and storehouses in Lebanon and assists the IDF with destruction of said facilities.
yep
