Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (R-HI) thanked President-elect and former President Donald Trump for allowing her to “play a small part” in his presidential campaign.
In a post on X, Gabbard described it as a “great honor and privilege to get to know” Trump, whom she described as being a “kind and courageous person.”
“I offer my heartfelt thanks and aloha to President Donald Trump for allowing me to play a small part in his victorious campaign to Make America Great Again,” Gabbard wrote. “It has been a great honor and privilege to get to know @realDonaldTrump, a kind and courageous person who sincerely desires the best for the American people — and indeed for all the people in the world.”

I could see her in any way and be happy :)
She has a big social media presence. I think she got people who would of never listened to Trump to listen. I thank her for her political courage.
Her qualifications are way above being a press secretary
She remains very cute - mentally.
Agreed. Hope there's a role for her that is truly fitting, which excites her and keeps her in the public eye.
I think she’d be better as Secretary Of Defense.
Way overqualified for that. Kari Lake, maybe, as a former news anchor who the press detests.
I think Donald ought to choose Kari Lake as press secretary, since she obviously lost her bid to be senator.
Kari’s not out yet.
> I think she’d be better as Secretary Of Defense. <
I was thinking the same thing. Unlike Trump 1.0’s first Secretary of Defense (James Mattis), Gabbard does not have an endless war mentality. She understands just what motivates the Deep State.
She’d be an excellent choice.
Kari’s not going to lose.
Military veteran, Sec of Defense or of the Army?
Last I heard she is down by 60K votes with only 2,400,422 votes counted as of 21:30 on 11/6/2024 (an hour ago).
Arizona had 4.3 million voters registered as of 10/10/2024. I don’t know how many people actually cast votes in this election. But if Arizona had an 80% turnout in 2022, then using the same turnout, there would be (.8 x 4,300,000) - 2,400,422 votes left to count.
So, that is 1,039,578 votes left to count to make up that 60K shortfall.
Depending on where those votes come from...this is possible.
Yep.
Nothing says the first female president has to be a democrat...
When Tulsi Gabbard, an attractive, articulate female candidate with military background and what used to be middle of the road Democrat views, was unable to get any significant support in the Democrat primaries, that tells me all I need to know about today’s Democrat party.
She is a Reserve LtCol so that may be a stretch. I would however like to see her as Secretary of State. Prepare for VP in 2028 and later President.
Good idea because she's not swamp.
She IS remarkably well spoken!
Kari Lake as press secretary. She was a journalist for 30 years and knows how to beat up reporters. Tulsi is a Lt. Col. in the Army and would be a better fit elsewhere.
