Two polling sites in Fulton County were briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after receiving bomb threats. According to Nadine Williams, Fulton County’s Director of Registration and Elections, five polling stations in total were targeted. While authorities deemed the threats non-credible, the Etris-Darnell Community Center and C.H. Gullatt Elementary School were evacuated for about half an hour. Both sites have since reopened and resumed normal operations.
Williams says the county is now pursuing a court order to extend voting hours at these two locations past the standard 7 PM statewide deadline to make up for the interruption.
South Fulton School Police reported that at around 8:15 AM, someone had also alerted them to potential bomb threats at several schools on Election Day. While no threats were found, officers conducted thorough safety checks across the campuses, including Feldwood Elementary School, to ensure safety.
“At this time, we do not believe these threats are credible,” police stated. “However, with several polling sites located within schools, we are aware of the potential for further attempts by bad actors to create panic and disrupt voting.”
Fulton County is best known for its association with the Democrat District Attorney, Fani Willis, who brought a controversial lawfare case against former President Donald J. Trump and his associates in the run-up to the election.
Pipe burst, bomb threat, whatever works.
Where’s Hunter?
Everyone evacuate except the Democrat vote counter...
For what it’s worth, this is the first election that hasn’t been held at a nearby school but rather a local church. I put that down to the heightened security for schools.
Oh look! Where did these 100,000 new ballots come from?
Hahaha, nope. Won’t happen this time around.
well well well how convenient.
Gee. Scumbags. All.
False flag generated just for that purpose...
This sounds disturbingly familiar. 2020 redux.
Ms. Abrams likely called it in
Yes, 2020 was a ‘burst water pipe’ or some such nonsense.
Any polling place that ever gets any authorization from a Judge to stay open for a second after closing time should only do so if the National Guard is onsite in sufficient force to ensure the safety of poll watchers of both major parties. And same goes for any precinct that is still tabulating results anytime after 2 hours of the regular time for the polls being closed. Hopefully they’d only need to have 2 guardsmen present to just verify that the Election workers and both groups of poll watchers are able to do their jobs. And even then all of the ballots cast or tabulated under such circumstances should be identified as provisional and subject to appropriate legal review afterwards. If the guardsmen haven’t arrived then a couple options could be considered that all start with a “shutdown” of operations to secure all the machines, ballots, and other paperwork: 2+ local police arrive & poll watchers & election judges all sign off on written/signed temporary concurrence to continue for N more minutes where N is defined up front & meets the court order definition. The officers stay put until the period expires & if they need to leave early then they oversee orderly shutdown.
Typical democrat ploy to get a judge to keep the the polls open for 6 extra hours. Ir in this case to give them 2 extra days to count the early votes. New state law requires all early votes to be counted by 8PM today.
Bomb Threat? I was expecting the DEM poll workers to all go s**t at the same time and have a sewage overflow……..
Sounds like the natives are a little.....restless.
That’s a way to get extended voting hours in Rat heavy areas. Expect more.
Is this like the burst water pipe last go around?
How convenient.
