After a campaign that included a candidate switch, a pair of assassination attempts and dramatic twists seemingly every day, the conventional wisdom from months ago ultimately prevails in three polls showing Donald Trump ahead in most swing states.
If Kamala Harris can do what Democrats have done in most elections for decades and win Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — the blue-wall states — she’ll likely have the 270 electoral votes she needs to win.
If she can’t, Trump will almost certainly be the next president.
But there’s plenty of drama possible before results are finalized — which wouldn’t happen until early next year under some possible scenarios.
A Redfield & Wilton-The Telegraph survey, in the field the last four days of October, shows the former president up in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina, giving him 268 electoral votes

Trump needs PA, that’s the clincher.
Ridiculous
I thought the RATS didn’t believe in walls because they don’t stop anything.
If Kamala loses VA early the screams of progressives will be nationwide.
“Pass the Pepto please”
No kidding. It is absolutely appalling that the nation has come to the point where this is even close.
Ridiculous
I disagree. I think Kamala, and the sick, pervert, baby killing, marxist cult she represents, i.e. the Democrat Party, are going to get their asses kicked.
I think a 525 to 13 vote, like Reagan vs Mondale in 84, is possible. Mondale wasn’t near as unpopular as Harris. And, he became the democrat’s candidate by an ACTUAL VOTE. Harris was appointed by Pelosi and Schumer.
I did not say that it would not happen…the fact that it is entirely possible is what is ridiculous.
From you keyboard to God’s ears
“If Kamala loses VA early....”
Why do people keep thinking VA reports “early”? Just because of its time zone?
NOVA and the ghetto areas in the Richmond and Tidewater areas ALWAYS hold back. Unless “early” means “midnight or later” then VA is no early state.
Trump will be ahead in VA when the first results begin coming in, PA too.... wait and see what happens next.
OR THE BOURBON
While of course I want Trump to win in a blowout, there is a part of me that would almost love to see Harris and the pundits pull their hair out if she managed to hold on to her precious “Blue Wall” only to lose the election because some “blue” state she didn’t bother to campaign in like Virginia went Trump by 1 point.
I agree that Pennsylvania is the state to watch. In 2022, the GOP thought the Senate race was in the bag for them and it wasn’t close (the Dems won). In 2016 and 2020, it was the opposite where the Dems thought they were easily in the lead and they weren’t. I have no idea what it will be this year. There was a huge amount of early voting; more so than in 2016, 2020 or 2022. But I’m not sure if that favors Trump.
We are not the same “united Americans” as we were in 1984-—It’s a bunch of divided, American hating, woke brainwashed idiots vs American Patriots. The electorate is not the same-—in 1984 Harris would be labeled a Commie and 90% of the country would agree she is bad-—now, 50% of this country thinks we should give Communism a chance and that DEI is for the “greater good”.
The question is, are enough Americans still holing on to American values?
Technically it’s not early voting-—it’s cutting out the post office and dropping off your mail in ballot directly.
To answer you question-—if the Dems are not motivated, we will win. It’s that simple-—if they are, we will lose.
Also, the Independents will determine the election and I believe polling shows they are breaking toward Trump...
They are keeping the polls close so if Trump wins big, they can justify legal attempts claim foul and subvert the will of the voters
I’m hearing reports that undecideds or independents are being for Harris in the last few days.
No idea, and I have my own thoughts on why this might be happening, but what difference does it make at this point?
My prayer for this election is that the American people elect the President that they deserve.
