Second gentleman Doug Emhoff has a message for young male voters: Former President Trump is “not your friend.”
Emhoff joined MSNBC’s Symone Sanders on Sunday, where he was asked about the historic gender gap among voters choosing Trump and his wife, Vice President Harris.
Polling shows younger male voters are more likely to say they are voting for Trump, while Harris earns more support from younger female voters.
Emhoff said Sunday that Trump is appealing to younger male voters by going on podcasts and appearing with wrestling icons, but called it “all hustle.”
“I’m trying to implore young men in particular to do the research. He’s not your friend,” Emhoff said. “You know the policies that he’s talking about will not help them in the economy. The policies he’s talking about have nothing to do with them.”

One question would be - which ticket is more apt to draft young men? Not that there would be a successful outcome, as I believe there would be massive non-compliance for a draft in the US, whoever is President.

Here’s the thing: Leftists, when they are young, and when they get older, never seem to lose the need to be “friends” with those in charge.
When they are young and have kids, they seem to want to be “friends” with their children instead of “parents”.
And when they are older, they persist in the childish delusion, wanting those in charge to be their “friends” and, when they are in charge, to have the people subject to their controls, view them as “friends”.
Conservatives seem satisfied to have people in positions of power who neither view US as “friends” nor do conservatives feel the need to view those people in power as “friends” to themselves.
We are inclined to view them in a professional, not a personal (emotionally based) context.
We make jokes, and might view the concept of having dinner with someone like Trump (or other politicians) as something interesting, but we don’t feel the need to be friends with them.
We want them to do their job, not be our “friends”.
Leftists seem largely stuck in a perpetual adolescence, and for each of them that has varying degrees of corrosiveness or destructiveness with respect to their ability to make logical, fact based analyses, rather than the emotional based ones they seem to make.

Young people need to know that Harris & Co. want to send them into war. My biggest fear right now, is my grandchildren being sent to fight in a useless war overseas, that has nothing to do with US security.
