“Person of interest” has zero meaning. The term is suspect. And when you are arrested, you are no longer the suspect, you are the accused.

It’s our new and improved woke military. If woke civilian DAs and AGs can refuse to prosecute criminal actions like murder then why shouldn’t the woke military follow.

I figure that most people have never lived on a military base or been around the military much. They are just people. More good then bad but the bad can be very bad indeed.

Agreed. I suspect ‘:)’ that is all just for bs news consumption, means nothing.
However, I suspect ‘:)’ there is little reason to differentiate ,legally between the two.
When arrested it means that law enforcement suspects someone.
They are not accused until charge/indicted.
