The Amish traditionally don’t vote in presidential elections due to their faith-based beliefs and Christianity’s historic separatism from mainstream society. Still, this year brings a whole new ball game as the candidates seek support from the horse and buggy riding group.
Since the Amish are a reliably conservative group given their faith-based convictions, reluctance to engage with people outside of their culture and lack of eagerness to conform to modern-day technology, the group can drastically shift the outcome of some rural states such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
A report from Elizabethtown College recorded that about 90,000 Amish live in Pennsylvania, 84,000 live in Ohio, 26,365 live in Wisconsin, and a decent amount live in Indiana, New York, and Missouri— which could make the election results sizeable. In addition, GOP Rep. Lloyd Smucker (R-PA) said that there were about 1,500-2,000 new voter registrants in his state’s 11th district who are Amish— noting that most are business owners who appeal to former President Donald Trump’s economic policies that benefit small business owners.
Smucker pointed out that the Amish are becoming increasingly more involved in politics than in the past.
In 2020, Trump lost Pennsylvania by 80,555 votes. This means that even if half of the Amish ballot in this year’s election, the former president could gain a favorable lead just by the group’s votes alone.
Contrary to Vice President Kamala Harris's offering, the Amish are receptive to Trump’s talking points, including his promise for a smaller government, less regulation, and religious freedom.
Trump is slated to host a Sunday rally in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, which has a significant Amish presence.
In recent weeks, the Amish have come out in support of Trump, saying that the Amish values line up with conservative values.
Entire Amish communities are travelling in carts with Trump flags, on their way to vote for Trump.
This is unprecedented. Off-grid communities don’t tend to go out of their way like this to vote.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Amish for Trump! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This Amish man was asked why he's voting for President Trump. He says that the conservative values and the Amish values line up very closely.
"We agree on most things. The liberal values are absolutely crazy." 💯#AmishforTrump #MAGA
If I remember correctly, they went big for Trump in 2020.

Let's go Amish gangsters! Get out the vote!

“..To protect their way of life, the Amish need to vote Trump!...”
Same holds true for evangelical Christians and devout Jews.
IF the demonic ho gets installed, it will be odongo’s 4th and final term.
Their houses of worship will likely cease to exist.
They have NO IDEA the magnitude of the threat they’re potentially facing if that ho is installed.

Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
We attended a Trump rally in PA in 2016.
Oh, yeah, the Amish vote. :-)
The government has attacked their farmers, raided them and forbade them to sell their dairy and agricultural products.
“Faith based convictions” is a great way to express it.
Trump’s people didn’t do their homework the Amish will not come out on a Sunday
The election is Tuesday. They will be out then.
The Sunday rally is not Amish specific. It’s for Lancaster. There are only so many days left, Sunday is one.
They will turn out.
They might.
Amish church services (held in homes) are conducted every other Sunday.
Tomorrow might not be a “church Sunday”
My office is in a Township that is majority Amish. About 700 of the Amish farmers are our clients.
Prior to this year, they did not vote. However, we have been having major problems with the Township Supervisors, Code Enforcement, and Engineer in that they hate the Amish and are doing everything they can to shaft them. Making them spend tens of thousands of dollars to put in a catch basin to build a small barn in field far from any stream, just so the engineer can make money. Harassment by code enforcement on trivial matters, Supervisors blocking approval of farm building projects. It’s pure evil.
Now the Amish are registered to vote and have the ability to take over the Township. Supporting Trump is just an extra benefit.
When it hits the fan, the Amish are the friends to have. They farm with horses. No electricity, no reliance on motor vehicles, and they all have farms that grow lots of produce.
The 90,000 total Amish in Pennsylvania is way too low of an estimate.
We have about a thousand Amish families near us and they all have lots of children. Ten to fifteen children are the norm per family and we have one with 24 children.
There are also Old Order Mennonite that are horse and buggy folk.
They do not accept government handouts. While they pay their income taxes, they do not accept stimulus or refundable tax credits such as the EIC or Child Tax Credit. Our office mailed back over $2 million in IRS refund and stimulus checks to the US Treasury as the Amish would not accept them.
It’s time for Amish and all conservative Christians to vote Trump/Vance, and to vote for down-ballot Republicans, too!
Jews should also vote Trump/Vance, since biden/harris intend to disarm Israel right after the election!
The Rats want the Amish lands and have been lawfaring them for a long time over growing and preparing food in the traditional ways.
“Trump you be careful out there among them English.”
“Trump, watch your back onest”.
