'Netanyahu survived this time,' Hezbollah chief Qassem says after drone attack (from his hidden location in Iran)

Qassem spoke of former Hezbollah leaders, Hassan Nasrallah, and Hashem Safieddine, who were killed in Israeli strikes in September and October.

Hezbollah's new secretary-general, Naim Qassem, said that he intended to follow in the footsteps of the terror organization's previous leader, Hassan Nasrallah, during his first televised speech as leader of the terror organization on Wednesday.

During his speech, he referred to the drone attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Caesarea home, saying, "Netanyahu survived this time, perhaps his time hasn't yet come."

"My agenda is to follow Nasrallah's agenda in all aspects," Qassem said. "We will continue our war plan."

He continued, "We don't fight on behalf of anyone or for anyone's project, we fight for Lebanon. Iran supports our project and doesn't ask anything of us."

Qassem spoke of former Hezbollah leaders, Hassan Nasrallah, and Hashem Safieddine, who were killed in Israeli strikes in September and October. He also spoke of former Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who was eliminated earlier in October in the Gaza Strip.

He called Sinwar "an icon of heroism and resistance for Palestine, and the free people of the world, died fighting to his last breath - steadfast, brave, faithful, righteous, honorable, and free."

The Hezbollah leader criticized various countries and regions that have supported Israel, including the US and Europe. He said that that Iran supports Hezbollah, and their "beliefs are aligned."

"International resolutions did not drive the Israeli enemy out of Lebanon; it was the resistance that forced them out."

He also discussed the pager attack launched by Israel in September, saying that the event affected "4,000 Lebanese."

Qassem is the Secretary General of Hezbollah operating from hiding in Iran. He will never be effective beyond making ridiculous pronouncements and meaningless worthless threats to the press.

The fact is, Qassem is not welcome in Lebanon. He will never return to Lebanon. Qassem bears the lofty title of Secretary General of a dead organization.

On return from to Lebanon from his cowardly self exile, Mossad will kill him.

“...Naim Qassem said that he intended to follow in the footsteps of the terror organization’s previous leader, Hassan Nasrallah...”

Nasrallah was killed by the IDF, so you are probably right...You will follow right along...

Fools, this gives Israel every reason to totally eviscerate Hezbollah. They need to anyway. HAMAS and Hezbollah saw tunnels as a means to counter Israeli air power. It worked until Israel sent their infrastructure back to the stone age. The IDF rolled in and began closing off tunnel exits, filling them with water and blowing them up forcing terrorists to move above ground. Both terror organizations saw rockets and missiles as their counters to the IDFs military superiority, that is not working out so well. All of this is good news for Israel. But, if these organizations survive, they will adapt and create new challenges for the IDF. Best to eliminate Hezbollah in Lebanon return Lebanon to its people.

If it were me, I would take all the HAMAS and Hezbollah terrorist fighters and drop them in the most northwestern coroner of Syria in orange jumpsuits with a case of non-halal MREs. Turkey for all its bluster does not want them, nor does Iraq or Iran. Syria could absorb them in its war. But if reports are true, Hezbollah fighters are mercenaries not zealots, so Syria may not appreciate having semi trained fighters joining the opposition for a few dollars more. Syria and Turkey may just kill whomever does not escape to Iraq.
