Fortunately in Oman which is very pro-western and astute thus they pretend to be somewhat unhappy with Israeli policy as does Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordon and Egypt. They all fear Iran and the instability Iran creates in their nations. Silently they approve of Israel.
The war by Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran against Israel is a direct result of the Abram Accords. Israel was establishing peace in the Middle East due to President Trumps actions and vision. This could not stand in the vision of Iran. Thus the war against Israel by Hamas, Hezbollah, and Yemen. A war they knew they would lose. Why did they do it? Iran needed war least they be not important. If peace is established in the Middle East, Iran is nothing except an oil producer and of no importance except for their oil.
I lived in Iran as a teenager. It was very pro western then and oddly is now. One never hears the opinions of the people of Iran on the news. That was in the days of the Shah. Women could dress in Western Clothing or a traditional shador veil of the whole body. It was their choice. It was about half and half. That choice for women has been taken away.
One of our secretarys in London was absolutely beautiful. She was Iranian but hired because she was highly educated and spoke English and Farsi perfectly. She hated the regime in Iran. Our company did business in the Middle East including Iran. She married a Canadian gentleman. He was a lucky man. Unfortunately I was married and she was a real lady as I was a gentleman. We occasionally had lunches together. Oddly when in Tehran we lived two blocks apart but did not know each other as teenagers.
