Raw ballot returns by party in PA today vs. this point in 2022 and 2020 by precinct-level micro-communities.
Dems keeping pace with 2020 levels in Philly suburbs and basically nowhere else. Black Philly returns down 41% from 2020.
Well there’s turnout, and then there is “turnout”
I would prefer they voted Trump, but not voting for Harris is also a good thing.
My only concern, if they don’t vote, that leaves another ballot open to potentially fraudulent use by the dems.

Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
They don’t like either. That’s ok.
Second best to votes for Trump are the stay out of it lack of voting Dem again.
It’s a start.
Similar to the bad effect of Christians not voting. Many estimates (even “only 17% of evangelicals will vote.”)
Outreach Magazine, October 23, 2024:
...new research from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, led by Dr. George Barna, indicates that millions of Christians are unlikely to vote.
Barna says this election season is marked by a significant drop in voter enthusiasm, particularly among Christian voters who have historically been key players in determining the outcome of presidential races. According to the research, only 51% of “people of faith” are likely to vote this November.
The results also revealed that large numbers of Christian churches have distanced themselves from the election, refusing to even encourage congregants to vote...
Democrats can’t define a black person anymore.CDG you ain’t black party.
Kumswallah reminds them of the woman they used to be married to.
Best to have an impartial study of such things. That guy has something to be gained by money flowing to such category, especially as a prof at a univ with total enrollment of 1200.
No way in hell he has the budget to do a decent study with so little tuition coming in. This is just speculation on his part.
This is what I’ve been seeing too. Mail-in ballots being returned in PA are down significantly in the blue areas. Up in the red areas.
I suppose it’s possible all the Democrats show up on election day, while the Reps don’t as they’ve already voted. I doubt it. There’s still a huge reservoir of GOP votes out there, as most men don’t trust this new-fangled mail system, so they wait until the last second. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
You’re right, of course.
Glenn Beck allowed one caller on his show (a rarity) a while ago. She was an evangelical Christian and explained why the lead story was few of them were going to vote this year at all.
Paraphrased: If we are in the world but not of it we do not soil ourselves with the pagan heathens who participate in the evil work. We ignore them and live our lives without voting.
My mother assures me that our church, of which I belong but do not attend, is 100% Trump. Well, 99%. She’s voting for Harris of course. Trump’s mean, don’t you know. Luckily the rest of the people of faith are tired of being lied to, screwed over, and having their faith mocked by the Democrats. At least at my little Pennsylvania UCC church, anyway.
I don’t believe Barna.
Philly is a big part of the PA vote, but this leaves more opportunity for ballot stuffing.
I hope his findings are wrong.
I don’t know about evangelical turnout nationwide. I checked the turnout numbers in some counties in rural N.GA that are home to many, many evangelicals. Turnout is already around 70%-80% of the 2020 vote in many of these counties. This just with early voting.
Not saying that some Dem areas aren’t going to have heavy turnout also. However, looks like much of rural N.GA, heavily evangelical, is going to roll past 2020 voting numbers even before election day. Now these are small and medium sized counties, but in terms of voter turnout, high numbers already.
Yeah, that is a problem - but the most important thing is that they don’t vote Kamala. They may not be able to bring themselves to vote Republican just yet, but as long as they do anything but vote for Kammy, it’s a win. Stay home, vote Libertarian, whatever.
May they increase in their numbers and save us from the end of America.
Just saw a video saying “A psychiatrist says the people with the most anxiety over the election are the ones who are best informed.” Said to stop following every item in news and social media and go for a walk.
That’s me all over.

She probably knows about 5 people as far as how they’re going to vote. There is a very broad spectrum in the church that are termed “evangelical.”
