Actor-director Mel Gibson hinted that he will be voting for former President Donald Trump while saying Vice President Kamala Harris has an “appalling track record” with an “IQ of a fence post.”
The Braveheart director issued his comments in a brief interview with TMZ while walking through the airport. While Gibson did not explicitly say that he will be voting for Trump, he did strongly hint at it.
“The president is being voted on in days. What’s your thoughts,” the TMZ reporter asked.

Now I love him even more.
Mel needs to apologize to fence posts.
Mel used to shoot pool with Rush Limbaugh no joke.
Sounds like Mel’s into the “donuts” again. He has the right to remain silent...but he doesn’t have the ability.
Very timely comment. We need more ridicule.
This makes sense.
Mel is a member of a very conservative sect of Catholicism, and takes his religion seriously. He is Pro-Life, and very traditional.
Kamala would say Mel is at “the wrong rally”.
That’s funny.
My first thought too. I immediately wondered if he intentionally insulted fense posts?
Whoa! What have you got against fence posts, Mel?
Tom Waits - The Piano Has Been Drinking
“And the bouncer is a sumo wrestler cream-puff Casper milktoast
And the owner is a mental midget with the i.q. of a fence post
Cause the piano has been drinking, the piano has been drinking (not me, not me, not me.)”
I can’t disagree.
With or without the turtle sitting on top of it?
Much of what comes from Hollywood is simply trash. Using shock appeal, breaking some taboo to grab peoples attention, many newer movies are intellectually and artistically vapid, as far as an art form is concerned un-creative, and frankly not any better than a modern porno movie (straight to the action). Flooded with contemporary garbage that dictates certain demographic representation, presenting homosexuals as happy and go lucky, often including a socioeconomic plug for Climate change or other trendy theme of the day, needing to cast women in lead action roles... much of what comes from Hollywood is simply put, junk. An endless drivel of mass produced junk. There is little creativity and poor acting and directing: See most of what is on Netflix as an example.
Gibson's movies are captivating because of their near tedious attention to detail (example “ We Were Soldiers”), as well as character and plot development. He is a true story teller using the movie as his medium.
Fence posts everywhere are insulted
Watch his film “The Patriot”
Moi, aussi. French for me, too.
An atrocious insult — to fenceposts everywhere!
