Casey Means Unveils Alarming Statistics: A Grim Portrait of American Health and the Chronic Disease Epidemic
CASEY MEANS MD ^ | Casey Means

Posted on 10/21/2024 10:10:33 PM PDT by Veracious Poet

We are getting destroyed and it's very recent and it's accelerating. The stats speak for themselves. You know this very well. 74% of Americans are overweight or obese. 50% now of American adults have type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes.

These were diseases where there was 1% of Americans in 1950 had type 2 diabetes. Now it's 50% of Americans have pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes. Alzheimer's dementia are going through the roof. Young adult.

Dementias have increased like three times since 2012. So early on that dementia is we're seeing, you know, this one in two Americans are expected to have cancer in their lifetime now, one in two, and young adult cancers are going up 79% in the last 10 years.

We've got 77% of young Americans can't serve in the military because of obesity or drug abuse. We've got autoimmune diseases. Some studies are saying they're going up 13% per year.

But there is a problem. There is a fundamental breaking of our core cellular biology that is caused by our diet and the world we're living in, the modern world we're living in today, that is crushing the very way that the human body and our human cells can transmit food energy to life energy, to cellular energy.

And so our bodies are essentially, I mean fundamentally because metabolic health is how we make energy in the body, the way that our environment is now synergistic to storing our metabolic health, and the science is very clear about this, it's basically like all of us are a little bit dead while we're alive. That's what metabolic dysfunction is. It's less energy in the body. We're underpowered. And that's very dark.

American culture is imploding, from the cellular level to the mind-made self (EGO).

Then there's the absolute vacuum of Spiritual Sanity necessary for "leaders" to function in a healthy manner...

Why are the Socio/Pyschopaths worshiped & followed by We The Sheeple?

The MAHA movement is mentioned by Casey ~ If Trump wins in November, will things actually change & get better?

I’ve got to get back to dieting or I’ll be shopping at Thornton Mellon’s

And I have a refrigerator FULL of food - steaks were on sale for $5 (10oz KC Strip) - and I’ve got a couple of Philly Cheesesteaks in the fridge too that need to be eaten

burp

I tenderized the steaks in the oven for about 6-8 hours in beef broth and cut them up - a little 32 (or 37) cent WalMart Brown Gravy and .....

Did I say diet?? Well, if I just eat a bit of steak each day....

Sorry you were not entertained...

Tick…tick…tick…

Have fun yelling into the black hole of blogster no-thing-ness and/or being titillated by the latest “thing”...

Perhaps you won’t notice how bad Real Reality has gotten until they force you to take your suicide pill…

Most “citizens” clearly don’t understand and/or give a crap that America’s Top Caste has sold *everything* out from underneath *everyone*, including their own progeny, rigged the game so only “They” can *win*, ran the public debt up To Infinity & Beyond!

Nah, all they seem preoccupied with is their personal neurosis regarding which race, creed or tribe to pin it all on!

Use to skim, not even doing that anymore. It’s just too painful 😐

All because *men* rejected Spiritual Sanity

Enjoy the collapse.

“If Trump wins in November, will things actually change & get better?”

What’s changed in the last 50 year? It’s the food and the food additives, and the portion sizes.

RFK is now on the beef tallow vs seed oils.

https://x.com/RobertKennedyJr/status/1848499491151745180

I think corn syrup in everything is also a huge problem.

I also think “chelating agents” are a huge problem. You know them as “preservatives” in processed foods. In animal feed in feed lots they are added as appetite enhancers and weight gain maximizers.

(think that food additives which are appetite enhancers might cause weight gain, esp when combined with portion sizes that no-one would have finished 50 years ago)

Canada and Britain are only a half step behind, and the size of young people I see is really alarming. And they are the ones out walking their dogs. The others are worse.

The Left will file an endless tsunami of lawsuits and legal injunctions at Trump’s every breath hamstringing him and making him as ineffectual as possible.........just like they attempted to do the last time except it will be even worse.

Why You Should Avoid Glutamate

High levels of glutamate and MSG consumption cause adverse health effects.
Glutamate consumption has been linked to the following:
Headaches
https://www.webmd.com/diet/high-glutamate-foods Increased Blood Pressure
Obesity
Ingestion of MSG has been associated with increased insulin resistance and reduced glucose tolerance in animal studies. These effects can lead to obesity, although researchers have not yet determined if humans experience the same results. The same studies demonstrated that the ingestion of MSG also disrupts energy metabolism and causes inflammation and liver damage.
Psychiatric Illness
In addition to “monosodium glutamate,” look for:
Hydrolyzed vegetable protein
Autolyzed yeast
Hydrolyzed yeast
Yeast extract
Soy extracts
Protein isolate

Trump is a centrist at best. Supporting planned parenthood because he might get a few votes. Innocent babies for power. He locked us down with no choir while cities were burning. A bumpstock ban.
The left requires him. How many days would you lockdown under Biden? The left used Reagan in the same way to get anchor babies and big pharma immunity. They were pretty weak back then. What they are doing now is insane.
He wants to import skilled migrants instead of fixing the real problem. That means replacing you, your sons and daughters who went to college. They have replaced entry level workers for a couple of decades. We’re next.

I have looked at the website, especially the scientific references. It looks diffuse and philosophical. The author's recommendations of a less anxious, stressful, and sedentary lifestyle and better diet can improve health, but a precise focus and beneficial nutritional supplements are almost always required to remedy ailments that resist cure by conventional medicine.

Unfortunately, American medicine does not aim at developing and delivering such remedies, and, for those who are ill, upbeat and well-intended preventative diet and lifestyle advice is rarely curative. Indeed, there is an element of patient shaming in such advice in that the ill are being told, in effect, your illness is your own fault.

It is as if EMTS were to show up at the scene of a car wreck to deliver safe driving tips to the injured instead of emergency care. Just as medicine patches up those injured in accidents without assessing blame, it will do best if it aims at cures for the chronically ill without slathering on blame for not eating enough broccoli.

Protein is healthier than carbs and sugar. The biggest problem I see is that people graze on snack foods between meals, and very few people do manual labor anymore.

I’ve watched both of Dr. Means’ visits to Tucker’s show, and I’ve just purchased her book. She’s saying what most researchers won’t: America is a vast pool of unwitting test subjects. We are all being experimented on. My eyes were first opened by Dr. William Davis’ “Wheat Belly” wherein he discusses how the very SEEDS of our food and food we feed to our livestock are being genetically manipulated to be resistant to pests, pesticides, drought, heat, cold, and everything else just to increase yield. This, of course, is being lauded as revolutionary! We’ll feed the world! But the reality is: we’re destroying it.

Hundreds and thousands of acres of wheat, corn, and soy are sprayed with glyphosate (Round Up), because the seeds produce a plant that is resistant to it. Think about that: a non-selective herbicide that kills 100% of plants that it contacts cannot kill produce that grows from genetically manipulated seeds. Does that make sense? How do you think that’s possible? Meanwhile, we’re consuming that glyphosate at the dinner table.

Then, add the nearly universal use of rancid seed oils and soy to every single bottled, bagged, or boxed product on the grocery store shelf, and you’re introducing a miasma of free radicals to every dinner plate whether you want them or not. There aren’t enough antioxidants in anyone’s diet to combat it.

American “medicine” is no longer about HEALTH care, it’s about MEDICAL care. There’s a BIG difference. Doctors are being paid to hawk products. They don’t care about root causes anymore. When I explained a recent issue to my doctor, he prescribed not one but two different medications. The cause? An overabundant zeal for maduro cigars. I cut out the cigar smoking, and suddenly the issue went away and hasn’t come back, and I’m saving over $200 a month on prescription medications. (Not to mention the cost of cigars, yikes.)

If Trump is actually allowed to occupy the Oval Office again, I pray that RFK gets a cabinet position as Surgeon General or some sort of health care-related role. We need someone to stand up to the powerful lobbies of Big Sugar, Big Ag, Big Pharma, and Big Chem. The unfortunate truth is that most Americans are lazy and will just do what their government tells them. Our government has abdicated that responsibility to industry which is in business to make money, not to make us healthy or happy. Most Americans will take two, three, ten pills if it means they can keep living their lives the way they are. This is going to take a monumental, multi-generational change that will likely easily be derailed as soon as another Democrat globalist steals the presidency.

We need stability in our government. The task ahead is so grand that I’m skeptical that we’ll have a foothold long enough to make any meaningful change. I pray daily that I’m wrong.

Let’s compare apples 🍎 and apples 🍎.

1950 1% of population diabetic

2021 11.8 % of population diabetic.

Significant stat.

No need to toy with it.

I agree with your suspicions about ill-chosen tampering with our foodstuffs, but assessment of risks should be proportionate, individualized, and take account of the evidence. "Wheat Belly" is an extended argument against not just wheat but broadly against high glycemic index foods such as bread and cereals and sweet beverages.

Fair enough as to the ill effects of high blood glucose, and glyphosates and other dodgy chemicals are suspected to provoke subtle harms. Yet wheat consumption alone is known beyond doubt to be the cause of celiac disease, an ailment that is of major consequence, badly under diagnosed, and a potential cause of life-long impairments.

For someone with celiac disease, traces of wheat gluten in a steak sauce are more damaging than any traces of glyphosate in the steak or the sauce or a blood glucose bump due to a coke used to wash them down.
