Who says Kamala Harris isn't a messaging genius?
If you want to win over swing voters, there can't be a better message than to recruit Lizzo, of all people, to warn us all that if Kamala Harris wins America will look like Detroit.
.@lizzo: I'm so proud to be from Detroit. They say if Kamala Harris wins, the whole country will be like Detroit. Proud like Detroit. Resilient like Detroit. The same Detroit that innovated the auto industry and the music industry. Put some respect on Detroit's name pic.twitter.com/fSWMGCW0uH— Kamala HQ (@KamalaHQ) October 19, 2024
That, my friends, is a winning message.
Detroit: come for the crime and corruption, stay for the cheap housing:

I have news for Lizzo: Detroit's population is 1/3rd of what it was in 1950 because Detroit became a Third-World city under the leadership of Democrats.
Detroit's suburbs are actually thriving, so it isn't because the REGION has declined. It's because the leadership is corrupt and incompetent. And, not coincidentally, all Democrats.
Lizzo, whom I have no particular problem with as she is just a standard-issue liberal celebrity with the politics of the privileged, is a perfect avatar of the modern Democratic Party. She visits places like Detroit to tell the proles what the establishment wants them to hear and then gets on her private jet to go someplace more pleasant.
This is how a bad b*itch saves democracy... by getting on a private jet. LOL. https://t.co/1xgWB19FOU— Andrew_Langer (@Andrew_Langer) October 20, 2024
Lizzo, needless to say, is not just like you. She has been a marketing genius, somehow combining undeniable talent with repulsive stunts and abusiveness to her employees to become an international phenom. She did so by being very...different.
Climate change hardliner Lizzo boarded a private jet clad in an outfit that put her entire behind on display.
I saw it, so now you have to, too. Those are the rules.

It says a lot about how out of touch Kamala Harris' campaign was that she thought that Tim Walz would appeal to the normies and that Lizzo promising that Kamala would make America Detroit would help her campaign.
America is afraid to become Detroit. Democrats have turned a once-thriving city into a rotting hulk, and we are to believe it is a paradise, just like Cuba.
At the same rally Harris trotted out Randi Weingarten, who famously told the CDC to keep schools closed during COVID. The results are what you would expect: unions got richer, and children were harmed.
Randi Weingarten says she "strengthened" Detroit public schools.
4 percent of Detroit public school students are proficient in math.
5 percent are proficient in reading.

Kamala Harris isn't running a campaign of JOY! It's nonstop anger, nonstop threats, and promises to remake America into a hellscape where Lizzo and Randi Weingarten are free to run our lives while they live in luxury.
Is it any wonder that Harris' campaign is imploding? A San Francisco liberal understands Middle America as well as you would expect.
Unfortunately, a vast swathe of America finds this vision of America attractive. Perhaps enough to carry Kamala Harris across the finish line.
That could happen if ordinary Americans don't swamp the polls. Democrats run most institutions, are engaged in a propaganda campaign unseen outside China or North Korea, and are spending billions to put Harris in office.
We have Trump.
I think Trump might be enough, all things considered. But we should give him a hand unless an American future that looks like Detroit seems attractive to you.

Anyway, yes. Please, Kamala, do make your campaign focus “Make America Detroit.” That alone would make our job an absolute cakewalk to get Trump elected a third time (and in office a second).
Rush used to say before commenting: Folks, that one is too easy. Just too easy.
I want the Stella Stevens role with the successor to Glenn Ford in the remake of Advance to the Rear.
They’re trying to blame me for the drug deaths of teens in the cities from bad crack. Mine don’t look bad to me.
They say exploit your assets and you’ll be a success. I say wherever my assets is where I’m going to win.
After a nuclear holocaust, Detroit will be unchanged.
Detroit has just gone though a decade where they demolished thousands of homes that had been abandoned by their owners and been seized for failure to pay the taxes on the property.
Those properties could not be sold at auction because the homes had been looted of the copper wiring and plumbing by thieves.
Cleveland has suffered much of this same theft but not to the extent that Detroit has.
Cleveland and Detroit have both suffered under decades of Democrat rule.
Unchallenged single party rule breeds corruption and waste.
Paint some eyes and a nose on it and it’ll look like Walz. And if Lizzo and Kamala have their way, America will look like Cuba!
Until eye bleach is posted, you should be banned!! I’m glad I finished dinner.

A fat tub of cottage cheese lard ought to know better than to have a picture taken with the sun shining directly down on her
Fun fact: Before the Zucker brothers made Airplane!, they made Kentucky Fried Movie.
Went to Case Western in the late 80’s.
Loved Cleveland back then!
