For years, Black men have been an integral part of the Democratic coalition.
In 2012, 87 percent of Black men backed former President Barack Obama; in 2016, 82 percent backed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; and in 2020, 79 percent backed President Joe Biden, according to NBC exit polls. This year, 70 percent have said they’re backing Vice President Kamala Harris, per a recent New York Times/Siena poll.
As those numbers make clear, the group overwhelmingly supports Democrats, but their loyalty has begun to wane, a shift that stretches across the last several campaigns. That attrition has something to do with the candidates themselves, but also with voters’ longstanding disillusionment with the party. Despite being one of Democrats’ most loyal voting blocs, some Black voters have felt ignored and taken for granted as campaign promises and change have been slow to materialize.
“People are disappointed with the Democrats,” says David Childs, a history professor and director of the Black Studies Program at Northern Kentucky University. “A lot of people feel disenfranchised. They don’t feel like they have a voice.”
An added twist is some evidence that the Democrats’ leftward shift on social issues may also be a factor. Reviewing polling on respondents’ views on LGBTQ issues, Thomas Edsall of the New York Times noted that views expressed by Black voters in one survey suggested that “some aspects of Democratic liberal orthodoxy contribute to the exodus of conservative minorities from the party.”

Has there ever been a case of a campaign advertising for a group to stay home? They hate Trump (as most groups outside of our bubble) and don’t care who the trashy moron running as the opponent is.
Many will be lost Dem votes if black people stay home.

Is it possible they are wising up? Just a thought.
The new "favored minority" is the criminal alien. So if you want a job so you can break into middle class rather then live on the government you will find your way blocked.
The criminal alien is going to get that job because he will work for less money. The reason he works for less money is the government is picking up his rent and food bill.
Which means that rent and food now cost more.
His kids get preference over yours in school and in college.
"The Great Replacement" is not about getting rid of "White People" (whatever that means) anymore. Every Native Born American has a target on their back. And that includes you.
Black women have not quite caught on yet because they are still on the "preferred minority" list but only just.
Black men are off the list entirely.

And maybe they want a house, and a nice car, and it’s CRAZY but a WIFE and kids, a good job they can work hard at and do better and better in life.
Maybe they’re waking up.
Americans of Italian descent told democrats go to hell in the 1970s after realizing they were being used for decades by dems.
We also became less and less distuingishable from all other whites and got tired of the “ethnicity” nonsense from dems.
They moved on to race...bigger pools of people.

Actually, Cedric did make some remarks that Rosa Parks just sat down once on a bus and he did that lots of times.
I recall Pat Buchanan being confronted by an elderly Jewish voter in FL who said she accidentally voted for him because the folded ballot was confusing. He told her if she was going to call him and anti-semite, that he did not want her vote.
