The new law decreases the number of ballot drop boxes available, tightens the ballot application deadline, includes voter ID requirements and bans the handing out of water to voters.
The article points out that many drop boxes have been eliminated, that remaining drop boxes are only available at early voting locations and are only available during regular voting hours. Of course this is viewed as a bad thing by libs.
Aslo note, absentee voting decreased from 26% in 2020 to 6% in 2022. Again, libs are outraged, normal folks would consider this a good thing.
The article talks about lawsuits filed trying to overturn the laws, but the authors are force to admit almost all the lawsuits have been rejected by Federal judges.

Everty time I see these liberal screeds claiming that vote-securing measures always “disproportionately impact black voters”, I just scratch my head, as they literally NEVER actually give any proof or explanation whatsoever as to HOW. Know why? Because to do so would be an attack on... Black voters...

The liberal Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper did a poll of black voters in 2022 after the new voting laws went into effect. The AJC reported that no black voters reported any problem voting, they could find literally nobody that had issues. I was surprised the AJC even published the story. Apparently obtaining state approved photo ID and showing up to vote wasn’t the impossible task libs made it out to be.
See, only the border crossers get water.

1. Disparate impact isn’t the standard — otherwise we’d have to repeal our criminal law because blacks commit proportionally more crimes.
2. The proper standard is racial discrimination, not disparate impact.

If you are too lazy to get to your polling place to vote, you’re also probably too lazy to understand the issues, and too lazy to work and pay taxes, so it’s probably best you don’t vote IMHO.
