...For several nights, military personnel had reported a mysterious breach of restricted airspace over a stretch of land that has one of the largest concentrations of national-security facilities in the U.S.
The first drone arrived shortly. Kelly, a career fighter pilot, estimated it was roughly 20 feet long and flying at more than 100 miles an hour, at an altitude of roughly 3,000 to 4,000 feet. Other drones followed, one by one, sounding in the distance like a parade of lawn mowers.
The drones headed south, across Chesapeake Bay, toward Norfolk, Va., and over an area that includes the home base for the Navy’s SEAL Team Six and Naval Station Norfolk, the world’s largest naval port....
Over 17 days, the drones arrived at dusk, flew off and circled back....They also were nearly impossible to track, vanishing each night despite a wealth of resources deployed to catch them....

A drone “roughly 20 feet long and flying at more than 100 miles an hour at 3,000 to 4,000 fee” was “nearly impossible to track”? And we couldn’t track a “swarm” of them?
Really? We can’t spot a swarm of SLOW and BIG aircraft? They just “vanished each night”? At Naval Station Norfolk, the world’s largest naval port???
What the heck is going on? All of our advanced ISR tech and we couldn’t track them? We didn’t just shoot them down when they got onto the NAS?
Time to bring back the Grumman F2F...
I find this hard to believe.
Shoot it down, then take it apart. You know the drill. right? You are expected to do more than just staring at it through binoculars, or worrying about it so much, that you cannot perform your assigned duties.
And if this really were so, we’d be sharing it in the media?
Plenty of theories have been offered to explain thr origin of these. Demons. Visiting time travelers from our own future.
Aliens. Russian or Chinese advanced craft being tried out. Our own military trying out advanced weaponry on ourselves w/o casualties. Inadvertent time slip victims from wherever getting caught here.
Good thing they were not Chinese weather balloons. Then we would really be helpless to stop them.
My guess: Enough civilians noticed and inquired, so “somebody better say something.”
IMO that’s not what they’d say if it were the real situation.
More like the deep state didn’t want them to be intercepted.
17 or 18 times and the military could not track them. They didn’t have jets up ready to pounce. Pull the other one.
It’s true. Local stories in addition to military accounts were plentiful. And yes, they could not reliably track the drones, keep them in their IR, visual, or radar sights or discover launch or recovery points. And prohibited by law from firing on them “just because they were there”.

There are a lot of things hard to believe happening in America circa 2024.
I believe very little of what we’re told, most if not all has an ulterior motive.
Leave it to the Biden bureaucracy to bury themselves under two weeks of meetings re a deadly drone problem.
No doubt at the first call to shoot one down, a woke bureaucrat jumped up at the big meeting table and cried out "But the poor people on the ground!"
Let a swarm appear over the sacred D.C. Swamp itself and those big twenty-foot drones would be evaporating like snowballs in July.
Let’s get this straight once and for all, “Rules of Engagement” only apply to couples about to be married. In war there are only two rules:
Rule #1= people die
Rule #2= only God can change Rule #1
Anything else is pure BS!
911 soon to be a footnote ?
