California regulators have blocked @SpaceX launches because they disagree with @elonmusk 's politics. This is a blatant violation of the First Amendment and a gross abuse of power, even in increasingly totalitarian California
— “We’re dealing with a company, the head of which has aggressively injected himself into the presidential race,” said CCC Chair Caryl Hart.
— “This company is owned by the richest person in the world with direct control of what could be the most expansive communications system in the planet,” said another commissioner.
— “Elon Musk is hopping about the country, spewing and tweeting political falsehoods and attacking [the Federal Emergency Management Agency] while claiming his desire to help hurricane victims with free Starlink access to the internet,” said another one.
Hence more business will move out of Kalifornia...i’m sure it costs Elon a lot of $$$ to launch those rockets from Kalifornia...
Well…Trump is speaking in California today
He plans to work for the people of California and they’re showing up
Hopefully Elon gets a whif of what happens when dealing with China or California or with China through Kalifornistan.
As for the other feckless corporations and Rinos of the defense industry laying low, eff em.
If I recall correctly you need California to launch west which is easier for certain orbits
You can only launch east in TX and FL
Elon will squash them like a bug.
I’m sure Mexico would like the business. Not the first choice, obviously, but the launches have to be done somewhere.
Or Washington or Oregon, maybe?
Lotsa remote islands in the pacific...

They don’t have the power to do what they’re doing. It’s patently illegal. Unconstitutional. Launch the damn rockets in their faces.
There’s always Mexico…
El Salvador is safer, and his business would be welcome there.
Yup. Government exacting retribution against speech. Textbook constitutional violation. And the judicial branch likely won’t do a damn thing.
Confirmed California's Coastal Commission Is Looking For Ways To Block SpaceX Launches At Vandenberg
The kaMala Administration launched war against Musk and his businesses as soon as she became VP in 2021 and it hasn't stopped since. President Trump has also expressed dislike of EVs but there can be no denying that EVs are the future. It's inevitable. Eventually, (almost) everyone will agree that EVs are far superior to combustion cars. Tesla has been around since 2001 I believe, so it does take a while for a new technology to catch on. But it's catching on now. Tesla has been working on self-driving cars for a decade and with AI capabilities exponentially growing, Tesla's self-driving cars' and robots' capabilities are exponentially growing. It's only a matter of time.
The kaMala Administration is so bad for America and so bad for American entrepreneurialism that Elon finally saw the writing on the wall and he's now excitedly endorsing and campaigning for President Trump. It's about time, Elon. Welcome to the Team!
NOT Washington or Oregon.
Both of them have uber-lib State governments and would never let SpaceX in their states, no matter how much $$$ it brings in.
(Hell, the guy on the D side running for Governor this fall would probably have Musk arrested if he ever visited Washington.)
The best place to launch from is near the equator, to take best advantage of Earth’s rotational speed, which is 1650kph relative to the center of the earth.
A classic case of the non-productive trying to tear down the productive, because their successes make the non-productive envious. It happens in every leftist dictatorship.
As he says “Adios, Kalifornia”, me and my massive amounts of income, revenue, and salaries are out of here”.
California regulators cannot arbitrarily stop critical infrastructure endeavors that are in the national interest.
