DUBAI, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Gulf states are lobbying Washington to stop Israel from attacking Iran's oil sites because they are concerned their own oil facilities could come under fire from Tehran's proxies if the conflict escalates, three Gulf sources told Reuters. As part of their attempts to avoid being caught in the crossfire, Gulf states including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar are also refusing to let Israel fly over their airspace for any attack on Iran and have conveyed this to Washington, the three sources close to government circles said.

No one wants to see the Strait of Hormuz closed.
It will be interesting to see what Israel actually comes up with. They have shown a lot of creativity and I’m not convinced that they will attack oil facilities.
They should destroy their military facilities and their nuke facilities. Leave the oil so the can feed their people.
Don’t need to bomb the fields, just one location, Kharg Island. That will send a message.
Yet another reason we should drill, baby, drill.
Bibi should keep his boyz doing what they need to do. Go IDF!
The Gulf States are trying to play both sides against the middle.
“Leave the oil so the can feed their people.”
Feed their people or their army and terrorist groups? If you want to destroy your enemy you must destroy their ability to pay for their war goods.
As far as other Gulf states worrying about their oil fields, I say that is BS. I’m certain Israel can tell which oil well is Iran’s and which is not.
The whole article is typical leftist propaganda.
Leave the oil so the can feed their people.

Feeding the people: Very low on the Mad Mullah’s to do list.
Storm Kharg Island and take it as a spoil of war.
So the "Gulf states" want someone -- not themselves -- to "stop Israel."
Repeatedly, media has said Islamic nations are on Iran's side against Israel, but it seems they want "you and him" to fight. Sounds like so much of this world wants that "world's policeman" to do what they won't or don't want to do.
Let's you and him fight, says Gulf states, the entire EU and so many more.
Read it again, they are not worried about Israel attacking their oil facilities. They are worried (rightly) that Irian will retaliate against their oil fields.
Israel should target their military/civilian leadership and their nuke facilities. Leave the civilian/economic infrastructure intact so they can quickly rebuild after the scourge of the leadership has been eradicated.
To do otherwise will result a mas exodus of the population to 'you know where', followed by billions in rebuilding costs paid for by 'you know who'.
Our neocons are drooling at the prospect
Too bad the US isn’t energy self sufficient and exporting oil like we were under Trump. Some of us remember the Arab oil embargo during the 1970s and how it disrupted the US economy. Thanks to Biden and Harris we are needlessly at risk again.
The can’t bomb the nukes. They cannot bomb oil.
I guess they can just go after the Iranian leadership. Maybe a couple of schools. Some hospitals. That would be better. //sarc
Seriously, Iran would take out the Saudi oil ports in response. It’s a “If we cannot pump oil, neither can you” type of response.
