Internet podcasts have become an extremely popular source for millions of people worldwide through access to platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.
There has also been an explosion of popularity in podcasts thanks to Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube shorts popularizing clips from the shows and thus captivating millions of social media users.
Perhaps no podcast is more popular than Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy, a Podcast in which Ms. Cooper usually hosts celebrities and asks them questions. This week, however, Call Her Daddy delved into politics by hosting Vice President and Presidential candidate Kamala Harris as a guest on the show.
This is extremely significant considering that, during her presidential campaign, Vice President Harris has been reluctant to give long-form interviews, but on her Call Her Daddy appearance, Harris discussed reproductive rights, dismissed criticism for not having biological children, and reminded everyone that “it’s not the 1950s anymore.”
Vice President Kamala Harris responded to JD Vance on Call Her Daddy In her conversation with Alex Cooper, Vice President Harris responded to attacks from Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance, about “Childless cat ladies” and other Republicans like Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee using the fact that she has no biological children to attack her.
Grecian Delight supports Greece In response to this, Vice President Kamala Harris said on the show: “I don’t think she (Huckabee) understands that there are a whole lot of women out here who, one, are not aspiring to be humble.”
She added, “Two, a whole lot of women out here who have a lot of love in their life, family in their life, and children in their life. And I think it’s really important for women to lift each other up.”
Harris also talked about her stepchildren, Cole and Ella, and her husband Dough Emhoff’s children from his previous marriage. She said that they “have a very modern family” and went as far as to say her husband’s ex-wife is a friend of hers.
Alex Cooper, host of Call Her Daddy, also invited former President Trump on the podcast Before the interview with Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris began, Alex Cooper said that she had wrestled with the idea of hosting a presidential candidate on the show. Call Her Daddy averages 5 million listeners a week, making it one of the most popular podcasts in the world.
Cooper also said she reached out to the Republican nominee, Donald Trump, saying “that if he also wants to have a meaningful in-depth conversation about women’s rights in this country, then he’s welcome on Call Her Daddy anytime.”
Cooper also said that she could not see a world in which one of the main topics of this election is women and she’s not a part of it, given the popularity of her show with younger female audiences.

If a modern family includes schtupping the nanny, then I vote for the 1950's every time.
If it were the 1950’s we wouldn’t have pride month, and the fairies would be back in the closet.
I think you had to be a lot wealthier to have a nanny in the 50’s. You are talking about the 80’s.
All of her interviews have been total disasters. No wonder her handlers wanted to employ the basement strategy.
They had no choice. People were going to notice. Why is Tim Walz on the campaign trail? And not Kamala Harris?
Does Cooper have > 2.1 children?
If not, she really doesn’t have much claim to steer our future.
Is she giving out her daddy’s phone number?
2024 is the Marxist/Orwellian dystopian HELL very smart people warned America about in the 50s. The Communists/Socialists spent every day since before WWII to overthrow this nation by destroying the Republic’s foundation. Their revolution is almost coming to fruition.
Yeah it ain’t the 1950s anymore Ms. Word Salad. It’s called the passage of time.

The flying nun ain’t what she used to be either.
That’s funny because all of her TV ads and billboards look like they are straight out of the 1950s. BTW. What would that bimbo know about the 1950s in America. She’s a Jamaican/Indian Canuck.
Have you seen Alex? She looks mean enough to kick the crutch out from under a crippled crab.
Seems the threat of nuclear war is about the same as in the 50s...
