The mayor of the only city in the United States with an all-Muslim government has endorsed former President Donald Trump for November’s presidential election.
Amer Ghalib, who leads the city of Hamtramck in the crucial battleground state of Michigan, said on Sunday that the Republican candidate is a “man of principles” and “the right choice”, despite their disagreements on some issues.
“President Trump and I may not agree on everything, but I know he is a man of principles,” Ghalib said in a post on Facebook.

Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib fires back at politicians criticizing city’s LGBTQ flag ban
Facing criticism from some elected officials in metro Detroit, Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib is defending a resolution he supported that banned the display of LGBTQ+ and political flags from city property.
The six-member Hamtramck City Council voted unanimously last Tuesday to approve the resolution that prohibits the flying on government property flags symbolizing sexual orientation, race, religion and politics. The move was criticized by a range of elected officials in Michigan, including state Sen. Stephanie Chang, D-Detroit, whose district includes Hamtramck, U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar, D-Detroit, whose district includes Hamtramck, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Oakland County Executive David Coulter and U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Detroit, among others.
“For those politicians who don’t understand the situation in Hamtramck but they released statements to criticize us for passing” the resolution, Ghalib said in a statement released Saturday afternoon, “you do not know our city more than we do, and you will not know the consequences of opening the door for every group to fly their flag on city properties. Our residents are all equally important to us, and we will continue to serve them equally without discrimination, favoritism or preferential treatment to any group. The city government will stay NEUTRAL and IMPARTIAL toward its residents.”
Amer Ghalib has seen the heavy hand of Islam - and it’s very similar to the heavy hand of Marxism. That’s my guess why he’s supporting Trump.

The Biden junta tried a proxy approach (not the first issue they'd tried that with) to become the white line down the middle of the road and it failed miserably. Also, the smell of death clinging to the Harris campaign is easy to detect.

There is a big Muslim population in SE Michigan because:
1) people wanted to escape terrorists
2) there were jobs in Detroit
3) good middle eastern food.
They do not speak with one voice.
The two major Muslim areas in Michigan are different. Dearborn (and a portion of Detroit adjacent to it) grew slowly from the white only Mayor Orville Hubbard* days to parity and now majority of Muslims. Most here since the 1960s and 1970s and then expanding.
Hamtramck, inside Detroit, was overwhelmingly Polish American when I attended Wayne State University in the late 1960s. It later suddenly had new immigrants to gain the majority in recent decades only.

Not allowed to literally campaign for Trump (religious rules), she still pushes his views and attacks the Dems every day on her show. She guests on her friend Theresa Tomeo’s national show and both blast the Dems brutally and encourage listeners to register and vote to stop the Dems.
* Hubbard’s statue was removed from a proud position in Dearborn to an undisclosed building interior after some threatened to tear it down during woke protests.
