May they rest in peace and my condolences to family and loved ones.
Truly sad, but at least Israel has someone, anyone, willing to sacrifice their own life for the good of their country. That ship has sailed in the US.
There’s been another casualty incident. Takes several hours at least before announcement. Baruch Dayan Ha’Emet.
Notice that the fatalities are mostly officers and senior NCO’s... Israeli forces are led into battle by their officers, not by their privates.
I sincerely hope their wives and mothers and other family members saw that the life of their young loved one, on their way to a full life in front of them, which was abruptly ended, was for a worthwhile cause.
I'm a US vet, and frankly, I don't believe any military death would be worth losing my son (or daughter) due to the misguided hubris of a warmonger.
Make no mistake ground ops will be a quagmire. The Lebanon War in 2006 was a nightmare for Israel. Right now in a matter of days, Hezb artillery has driven back the IDF, 8 special forces men are dead, a squad was wiped out and 3 tanks damaged.
The Radwan Force they are facing is equivalent to American Green Berets in training amd equipment and concealed in tunnels and traps. They are on their own turf among their own people, think Vietcong but better troops.
Israel get in massively then out fast.
Were they in tanks?
God Bless the IDF.
May their memory be a blessing..
