For the assertions to be true, one would need to know what weather would have occurred in absence of current levels of greenhouse gases, which nobody does know, and also, the weather on every day of every year since around 1990 when this “crisis” began, which nobody does. Katrina 2005? Well it wasn’t as strong as Camille in 1969. Then there’s the awkward fact that Galveston was wiped out by a hurricane in 1900. And in 1936 there were heat waves never seen again; worst tornado event in 1925, the 1935 and 1938 hurricanes — none fit your theory.

So that eliminates science and leaves only politics as a possible foundation for the discussion. And we see how impossible it is for people to agree.

But you know what old Joey me boy, if your standard of brain dead is to ignore a problem that anyone can see needs fixing, then what exactly are you doing about the southern border and all the illegal invaders pouring in, besides celebrating?
