Melania Trump has done her best to stay out of the spotlight throughout her husband’s presidential tenure and political career. Now, in a memoir titled Melania set to be published a month before election today, she has openly chosen a side in America’s abortion wars. The Guardian obtained a copy of the memoir, and published the former—and possibly future—First Lady’s pro-abortion declaration:
It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government. Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?
A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes. Restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life.

I’m sorry, I can’t agree with the death penalty. Again, too many mistakes happen, and even prosecutorial misconduct.
It is as simple as knowing DNA. A child has different DNA than the mother, its easy to see that it isn’t the mothers body, so it’s not the mothers choice. A unique human has come into existence. It’s no longer anyone’s choice.
Your belief that it’s ‘another person’ is not shared by everyone.
Melania is probably secretly hoping Trump loses. She has a very comfy life out of the spotlight as a billionaire’s wife, and doesn’t covet or even like the spotlight or having to do daily events or speaking engagements.

I’m sorry, but I’ve always had some doubts about Melania. Just a feeling mostly, but this confirms it.

Without a detailed discussion of the topic, I would assume her position is the middle of the road position along with the majority of Americans. I support that and not the extremist Democrat party position.
But regardless of her position, I support her and I certainly support her husband. She doesn’t make policy for her husband’s presidency, regardless of the pillow talk, which certainly won’t be about that topic.
I have always been turned off by all the First Lady Glamor the media and the world paints. In my mind you don’t get to be wonderful just because you are married to a president. Just like everyone else. They either earn it or they don’t.
I have never heard anything to indicate that Melania is a christian so this does not surprise me. I am not saying that she has no good qualities. But she is no a saint.
The Devil is scared. Often the opposite of what’s transpiring in the spirit realm appears in the physical first. The truth may in fact be that we are closer to having a moral and spiritual reckoning with God about abortion for the good. Praying must continue. (Including for beautiful Melania.) Education, activism. etc…
The friends I have who are closest to God always remind me, the Devil is LOUDEST and most active just before the breakthrough. So NEVER let what you see and hear distract from the miracle God is about to work.
I misremembered that part. I meant to say that it can have a different blood type, which of course is not possible for an actual part of your own body.

IMHO there are lots of women who support abortion politically very loudly, but when she gets pregnant she gets a different opinion. It’s like there’s a herd mentality for abortion until it involves your own baby.
Something is wrong here. I’ll wait. She’s a deeply rooted Christian.
