Liked her with Michael Caine in California Suite. The soundtrack for that movie is quite good as well.

In general. the British have a bunch higher tolerance for seeing very elderly actors performing. than Americans do.
Maggie would not have remained as active and in demand had she spent her last 25 years here. She was as talented as she was haggard. Forgive me for being blunt, but it’s true.
As a side note. I often got her mixed up with Vanessa Redgrave. Both women were tall, with a regal bearing. a grimacing smile and with piercing eyes.

While Vanessa Redgrave is a fine actress, she is also a Pallie-loving looney tunes terrorist supporter.

We saw both Maggie Smith and Vanessa Redgrave live on the London stage in 1966. Ms Smith in “Black Comedy” and Ms. Redgrave in “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie”, both were magnificent. It was a great for both of us.

I was just thinking about her last night. They are going to show “Murder by Death” on TMC and always found it funny to think of her as having “the best tush is High Society”!

Thank you for YEARS of entertainment Maggie! I Love You MuCH!

We also saw Maggie Smith in the 1970s on the London stage. She starred in Edwin Albee’s “Three Tall Women”, and again she was outstanding. A great actress!
