Why should anybody be knocking on doors of Republican voters? they’re already registered.
We need to register people that aren’t affiliated with either party.
It has more to do with turnout than registration.
Being registered doesn't mean they'll show up and vote. This is campaigning 101 - GOTV. There are numerous "lazy voters" / "passive voters" who would vote for a certain candidate every election cycle that don't bother to show up unless they are prodded - and if an election is at all close, they are the difference makers.
The campaign keeps a computer database of Republican voters and when they vote. They are only targeting “low propensity” Republican voters in their get out the vote efforts. Republicans who always vote in elections are only getting mailings, rather than door-knocks, calls, etc. Republicans who sometimes miss voting are getting all the attention to try to make sure this isn’t one of the times they don’t get around to it.

Getting people registered is only half of the task. We also need to make sure they get out the vote!
So?
Do they see signs of groups door-knocking for Cackling Kamala and Tampon Tim?
