The icing on the cake is that there are still ample games remaining to break and set a new record!

Hopefully the Tigers will sweep them to get into the playoffs.

It is not a record to be proud of, but it does take some doing to lose 120 games. And the season isn’t over!

I can't get the song Bad, Bad LeRoy Brown out of my head. This is, after all, the south side of Chicago.

If they make playoffs should Hinch get manager of the year?

Even the best teams struggle to get 100 wins. It would stand to reason that even losing 100 games would be difficult as well. What the White Sox have done defies the law of averages.

They could still avoid the worst winning percentage of all-time by winning five of their last six games. But, there is no chance of that happening.

Not likely with Vogt and Quatraro in the same division.

On the bright side, unlike last year, nobody was shot at Sox Park this season (yet).

The White Sox have 6 games left and I predict they will smash the record with 125 loses.
What a season for the records with the White Sox’s loses and the first MLB player ever to have 50 HRs and 50 SBs and that player is a pitcher! A season to remember.

Tigers were an afterthought...they were sellers at the trade deadline, giving away their #2 starter.
Preseason picks were Cleveland followed by KC and Minnesota . KC picked up quite a few good free agents in the off-season. Minnesota had under-performed.
KC and Minnesota were both pushing Cleveland for a while there (while the Tigers were floundering) but both really tanked last few weeks.
"The Tigers own a 25-10 record since Aug. 11, the best in baseball, with a major league-leading plus-62 run differential".
They have a rag-tag corp of pitchers nobody knows (including here in Detroit).
The schedule going out favors the Tigers, but schedules this time of year mean nothing, as teams with nothing to lose play spoiler.
That said, should the Tigers take care of their business that last series between the Twins and the Orioles could have them challenging for the #1 wildcard...that would be insane...considering where all these teams were a month and a half ago.
