Sometimes people can take the entire idea of complying with ridiculous government mandates several bridges too far. That appears to have been the case during a recent sporting event held in New Hampshire. A girls' soccer game was scheduled between Plymouth Regional High School and their rival Bow High School. Bow High School was fielding a boy who "identifies" as a girl to compete, but when the Plymouth Regional parents heard about this, they asked the Bow High athletic director to withdraw the boy from the roster. He refused, saying that "his hands were tied" by a federal ruling allowing anyone who "identifies as female" to compete.
Having run out of other options, the parents decided to wear red wristbands to the match that were marked with two letter "X" symbols, signifying the women's chromosomes shared by all females as a silent protest. That wasn't good enough for the Bow High School team who insisted that the wristbands be removed. The parents refused. That's when they called the police and had the offending parents removed from the venue. (College Fix)
A New Hampshire high school called the cops on several parents who showed up at a girls soccer game wearing wristbands with “XX” on them.
The two Xs, which signify women’s chromosomes, were to protest the participation of a biological male on Bow High School rival Plymouth Regional HS’s team.
According to NH Journal, parents had asked the Bow High athletic director to do something about the situation ahead of time, but he noted his hands were tied “in the wake of a federal judge’s ruling that the term ‘girl’ includes males who identify as female.”
As a result, the parents engaged in a silent protest by wearing the wristbands at the game.
This story evolved from a sad tale of confusion to one of oppression and offensive stupidity at record speed. The parents from Plymouth Regional didn't attempt to block anyone's access to the game, including the trans athlete. They didn't even boycott the game themselves. They didn't stage a protest or disrupt the match. They decided to conduct a silent protest that nobody would have even noticed unless they were following the story closely in the local media.
Further, you can see images of the wristbands in the linked article. There were no caricatures on the wristbands. There were no slogans or anything that might be seen as "offensive" to the trans athlete. The parents were wearing red (or pink) wristbands with the letter "x" drawn on them twice. That could mean anything. Even if you're familiar with the biological meaning behind it, this was simply an unspoken statement of support for their daughters, all of whom have two X chromosomes. If you really wanted to stretch your imagination, I suppose you could say that someone wearing a symbol showing an X and a Y with a strikethrough line across the letters might have been sending a negative message, but that wasn't the case.
The offended parents and the athletic director for Bow High School took it much further than that, however. Superintendent Marcy Kelley of Bow claimed that the wristbands “violated school policy against ‘threatening, harassing, or intimidating…any person.’” Who precisely was being threatened or intimidated? Who precisely received the worst treatment in this situation? Two of the parents who refused to remove the wristbands had a police-enforced ‘No Trespassing order' against them.
The real victims in all of this were the female athletes. The game was shut down while the issue was being resolved. Initially, the actual female players on one team were subjected to an unfair and potentially dangerous situation. One of the parents expressed concerns that his daughter could wind up being injured, something that has taken place in other such competitions. Now the controversy will spread out into the rest of the season.
Some of the local schools insist on recognizing male players as females while others do not. That uneven mixture will result in yet more young girls having opportunities stolen from them all in the name of the transgender social contagion that is sweeping through school systems across the country. This situations cries out for a fair resolution, but until Joe Biden's insane amendments to Title IX are rolled back, there doesn't seem to be one on the horizon.
The administration of that school should resign.

Sue the snot out of them. That’s pure 1st amendment.
There are federal laws that can be brought to bear against the cops. A civil suit for violating their civil rights under false color of authority would be a fine start.

Sorry. The school board has no jurisdiction over me. So they can FO.
School administrators inevitably lose every anti First Amendment overreach...and spend thousands of taxpayer dollars trying to defend the indefensible.
School Administration is the last refuge of despots and dictators.
“When in the Course of human events...”
How about a little tune, hummed.
Dah di di dah - dah di di dah
Hum and repeat.
The scary part is the cops arrested them - removed them.
What law were they breaking?
Wear a Dos Equis Beer hat instead.
Bow HS Principal, Matt Fisk.
by a federal ruling
George Washington would cry if he could see this. 😢
Stand your ground . Live fag free or die 😂☠️🤡🙄
wait a minute. silent protest? these parents actually let their girls match up against a male high schooler? dangerous mistake. as soon as they learned the situation they should have pulled their kids from the game. at least i would have done that with my daughter.
A jobsworth.
They should have turned their backs to the other team , which would have triggered them worse than the XX wristband. Once triggered , the team should gathered midfield in a huddle and shouted, “ girl’s sports for girls” and then walked off.
Something, anything, don’t let the fags wins.
The parents DESERVED just what they got. After all, it was THE PARENTS that subjected their kids to public school.
:) that would have worked too. don’t understand these parents today.
They'll argue that opposing trannies in women's sports is "hate speech" and not free speech, and probably find some Communist judge to back them.
Pay special attention to the last paragraph.
