Here’s the thing: In a total war where one nation survives, the other is destroyed, Ukraine can’t defeat Russia. Russia is just too many times larger. But how in the world did Russia get itself into a situation where Russia is faced with its own destruction? How did that become the measure?
The way I see it, Russia in Ukraine lost two wars already. There was a war to save the whole of Ukraine from Russia. Russia lost that. Then there was a war to inflict such massive costs on Russia that even if she emerged with Donbas intact, she would never be so foolish as to try to invade another of her Western-facing neighbors. Can Russia really lose a war by Ukraine to reclaim Novorussia?

Your premises do not necessarily hold.
100 drones with the ground speed of a WWI sailplane, maybe less, and how many got through to destroy a 4 mile wide arms depot? For hose countries watching, Russias air defense sucks. The 2nd major foot to drop is who has bought these air defenses and how long until they get dumped.
Not only will Russia lose this war, it will lose its military sales to other countries. The reason their military hardware is cheaper than Western nations is it sucks.
two things always strike me about these reports:
1. Russia is buying rockets and missiles from Iran and North Korea of all places. Why? Is russia’s industrial base so thread-bare that they’re forced to buy semi-sophisticated weaponry from third world countries?
2. Reports consistently show success of drones against russia, both strategic and tactical, which indicates that russia’s air defenses are totally pathetic ... even tiny israel fended off multiple-thousand, simultaneous drone attacks, destroying all but one or two, almost all before they even reached israel ...
Add to that - it appears that Russia doesn’t even follow the basics of ordnance storage.
Or we just can’t be bothered with those painfully annoying bunker farms, with earth mounds and blast doors.
They keep trying to do war-on-the-cheap and it doesn’t work well.
Ukraine has hit another ammunition dump of Russia’s. This one the 23rd Arsenal of the Missile & Artillery forces in Krasnodar Region.

The videos show drones expose a soft underbelly. Ground vehicles are extremely vulnerable to them, even if the air is dominated with traditional aircraft. Russia doesn’t seem to have much of a defense against them. A CHEAP drone can be launched by a single person in close proximity to bigger assets, e.g. tanks and people carriers, and leave a devastating impact.
This is the first mass-drone war.
For hose countries watching, Russias air defense sucks.
Doesn’t the side that is winning (we’ve been told that every day by the media and by more than some here) usually occupy the other’s land as a greater percentage?
Russia has 20 percent of Ukraine’s land.
Ukraine has 1000 square miles out of 1.6 Million miles in Russia.
And the tide has been turning, we are told, for about 2 years.

Only a disgusting SOB would give a damn about the war in Ukraine when just had another assassination attempt against Trump, which, once again, the Secret Service was complicit in.
Are you voting for Trump, Timber? Time you were forced to answer that question.
