Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris said she would not be taking away anyone’s guns then immediately pushed an AR-15 ban during a Tuesday question-and-answer with reporters at the National Association of Black Journalists.
Harris said, “I am a gun owner, and Tim Walz is a gun owner, and we’re not trying to take anyone’s guns away from them, but we do need an ‘assault weapons’ ban.”
t appears that such a ban — if it were actually a ban — would take AR-15- and AK-47-style rifles away from the law-abiding Americans who currently own them

“As President, she won’t stop fighting so that Americans have the freedom to live safe from gun violence in our schools, communities, and places of worship.”

“She’ll ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require universal background checks, and support red flag laws that keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.”
Doing as in the second sentence wouldn’t accomplish the goals of the first sentence. The actions described in the second sentence are only part of her dishonest scheming.
“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic. ... There is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”
Joe Biden
Consider Joe’s thoughts together with Kamala’s second sentence.
Kamala: “Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn’t mean that we’re not going to walk into that home and check to see if you’re being responsible.”

AR deaths? Not certain but a LOT lower than the other two!
Anyone? Hello? Bueller?
Which would be abandoned after the first couple of tries due to casualties within their ranks. Then they call the drones in.
Isn’t it amazing how fast images disappear? You will have better luck using Yandex to find images.
Good one!
but the one of him with an obviously semi-auto, held at the ready, is gone.
Wait, she actually did some sort of interview? It must have been getting to much for them to keep hiding her.
I thought Walz said MYOB re abo7rtion. Well MYOB re guns
After banning military looking semi-automatics they will conclude that all semi-automatics are dangerous and ban them, too. Next they will focus on caliber bans, nothing larger than .22 single shot hand fed. They can’t achieve their gun control goals at once so they’ve adopted an incremental approach.
Come and get it Bitch!
I once had a discussion with a college student that wanted to only ban “weapons of war”. He went silent when I asked which weapons have not been used in war.
Looks like it disappeared from my posting history, as well.
1) Knives
2) semi-automatic pistols;
3) shotguns;
4) bolt-action rifles;
What isn't issued to combat troops, and isn't a "weapon of war":
- gas-operated AK/AR style rifles limited to semi-automatic fire only
The whole "weapons of war" mantra is a joke.
You got that right. Someday Americans will figure out that these mass school shootings were all part of the Communist and Marxist plan to disarm Americans. And we let a Jamaican refugee get away with doing it. I hope We the People are absolutely sure they want a Jamaican/Indian refugee running their lives.
Yeah, thinkin’ nope.
Semi-automatic AR-15's, for starters. The AR series we've issued for troops are capable of burst or fully-automatic fire.
In other words, the one weapon they constantly refer to as a "weapon of war", isn't.
Just because they offer to pay you a paltry amount to turn in your gun, doesn’t mean that it’s not confiscation! And what if you don’t comply? You become a felon a banned from owning any guns.
