Other Russian Telegram channels said the attack resulted in about 50 Russian casualties.
Ukrainian forces have used the Washington-supplied HIMARS on several occasions throughout the war, including in its Donetsk and Luhansk regions which are largely occupied by Russian forces. The Kremlin has been pushing for the total capture of the two regions—which together comprise the Donbas—since Russia's initial invasion of eastern Ukraine in 2014.
HIMARS has allowed Ukraine to destroy Russia's most advanced anti-aircraft missile systems. Washington has supplied the Ukrainians with at least 39 HIMARS since the war began on February 24, 2022.
In February, Serhiy Bratchuk, a Ukrainian official in southern Ukraine, said Kyiv's forces attacked a training area for Russian troops close to the Donetsk city of Volnovakha with HIMARS.
He said in a post on his Telegram channel at the time that the strike killed about 65 Russian soldiers near the village of Trudivske, where units of Russia's 39th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade were stationed...
Another HIMARS attack in the same month on a training ground in the Russian-occupied part of the southern Kherson region reportedly killed at least 60 Russian soldiers.
"Mass liquidation of Russians near Podo-Kalynivka in the Kherson region," said Serhii Sternenko, a Ukrainian activist in a post on X, formerly Twitter, adding that "not everyone survived."...

Russia getting "a taste of its own medicine"
Could all have been avoided ... all Putin had to do was stay within his own borders, and develop his country ...
Nope, Putin wanted to steal some neighbor's land, so he attacked & invaded without any provocation

That’s a very ballsy attempt at revisionist history, I’ll give you that much.

Are you referring to the first unopposed Russian invasion in 2014 that resulted in the annexation of Crimea and support of the separatist movement in the Donbas? The 2014 invasion was in response to the EU/US support of a coup against the duly elected government of Ukraine.
How did we get into this proxy war? NATO expansion is the short answer.

You're in denial.
Denial of the facts is, in fact, revisionist history

Nope, Putin’s greed & ego is the reason
Putin has had Russia at war for 22 of the 25 years he’s been in power ...
Look, let’s be honest here, Putin is just like Hitler, another warmonger that can’t ever stop attacking neighbors and trying to steal their land

I don't like that the news is coming from "Newsweak" either, but...
Where would you prefer the news to come to us from? Is a Russian media source more credible for you. NY Times? WashPost? NY Post? FOX?
My belief is that no matter the source, you would not like to hear the report.

Adorno, come back when you can define what a woman is. It is not a choice. You are born that way. Same with Zelensky. No matter how many times he dresses up like a girl, he will still have male parts. Although I grant you that he is rather petite for a male.

I have a general question to all here who know something about the Ukraine Russia current situation and history.
What if, the US/NATO Ukraine coup in 2014 had not occurred and that leader was still in power. What would have gone differently in Ukraine since 2014 and where would it all be now? What was so dangerous about that leader who was deposed that we are now in a bloody fight there for years?

Governor DIMWIT?
Yeah, only a dimwit would post something like the above. In fact, there is no wit in that, and only pure human sludge like the type that exists in your brain.

Your pick is still about source preferences.
Russia wins some battles, and they lose some battles. Ukraine wins some battles and they lost some battles.
Meanwhile, Russia is in a stalemate and is in the same battle areas that they started with. Ukraine has moved into Russia and taken large swaths of Russian territory?
FACT: no matter what the source, the conditions on the ground and the real gains (or losses) won't be deciphered until after the invasion has been repelled.

Putin wants to live forever. He wants a legacy. His legacy is to have a city named after him, something like, PUTINGRAD. Guess what city would change name (and it's not in Russia)?

With all these Newsweek articles you would think Ukraine has been pushing the Russians backwards. The only thing I've been seeing for months is the Russians advancing all along the line of contact. Will this bombing change the direction of the war? It definitely won't create the manpower Ukraine desperately needs. It won't offset the 180,000 new troops Russia is moving into the battle zone. I do feel bad for the Ukrainian people but I have nothing but contempt for their corrupt leadership. They probably groomed the loser who tried to take Trump out on the golf course. Zelensky is desperate to keep American money flowing and Trump is a direct threat to him and his corrupt regime.

Barney? Do your parents know that you are talking to adults in an adult forum?
Dimwitted people, especially 5-year olds, should not be annoying adults, on the internet or anywhere. Go to your room or I'll find you and have your mother arrested for not supervising your activities.
