Immigrants just havin’ fun?
I wonder if regular urban types are jealous now of the media attention given to the new border crossing gangs in town.
All out warfare between them might erupt. Tens of millions of dollars of aid money that would have gone to black people has been going to the “border crisis” and illegals arriving in cities.
More consequences of the terrible idea of open borders.
Ever see any of “The Purge” movies? It’s sort of shows how all of this ends.
WHO can tell what a woman is???
Haven’t seen any. Looked it up. More horror.
A shame we live in “interesting times” as the Chinese say.
If Kamala gets selected, we’ll all live in “interesting times” until we don’t.
Yes.
How long until Amazon’s bestseller list has a new edition of Mao’s Little Red Book with an introduction by VP Tim Walz.
Hopefully never.
Tens of billions, not mere millions
RE: Tens of billions, not mere millions.
Apologies to all.
“A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon, you’re talking real money” has been attributed to Senator Everett Dirksen, but there is no direct record of Dirksen saying the remark.
Dirksen was instrumental in the compromise that allowed early civil rights legislation to pass in Congress against the strenuous opposition by the Democrats (Dixiecrats, including active Ku Klux Klan members). Dirksen’s GOP group and the mostly Northeast and Midwest Democrats got the laws passed.
By the way, in a biography of actor Peter Lawford, in-law of JFK and RFK, he recalled RFK sitting on the other side of the room and looking depressed about civil rights laws being blocked.
JFK had not been interested in the laws and said to Lawford:
“There’s Bobby over there looking depressed about his negroes again.”

"The officers, which [Chief of Department Jeffrey] Maddrey confirmed were the only ones to shoot, also struck two bystanders and one of the two cops. A female victim was grazed and a male was struck in the head. The injured officer was hit underneath his armpit, just missing the bulletproof vest, Maddrey explained."
