Because the standard shtick among commentator-ville is to be slick and glib - regardless of substance - which she accomplished - phony as hell.

It did not help that President Trump was careless and brought up the pets (and is listening to Loomer). He, and Vance, should stay on message: Economy, inflation, illegal migrants, and her lack of foreign policy experience to deal with a potential nuclear war breaking out of Biden/Harris mismanagement of Russia/Ukraine war.

They need sober substance now if they want to win this race. It should not be this close, but it is.
