It is not surprising that there was a surge of punditry opinions arguing that Kamala Harris won the September 10 debate with Donald Trump. The DNC desperately needed the validation of such a win and it was also evident that the ABC moderators felt the same. Many conservative analysts have joined in and agreed that Trump lost the debate. From the standpoint of debate practice, Trump performed one of his most successful debates and arguably won the debate.

Probably; but he would have done even better had he not knowingly walked into an ABC ambush.
Trump’s greatest asset is also his greatest weakness, sometimes.
He has an iron will, a great ego, and he’s very proud of what he’s accomplished.
He should be. If he’s not the greatest president since Lincoln, he’s very close to it.
But his pride couldn’t let Kamala get away with all the lies she told about his presidency.
Kamala stepped onto that stage with no intention of revealing anything about her policies.
Her sole intent, with the help of many professionals, was to irk Trump into distraction.
She succeeded, and because her mission was successful, the wormtongues in the fake news claim that she won.
She did not.
And I wish Trump would call her a communist instead of a Marxist.
Young people today are so poorly educated that most of them have no idea who Karl Marx was.
Indeed Harris sounded just like Biden but longer winded it helped with more of her lies.
She’s a nasty skank whos unfit for any public office she’s dangerously crazy.
As a Trump voter 100%, Trump lost. We all know the reasons why he lost but cmon, he lost. He missed so many opportunities to smash the hell out of Kamala and he just didn’t do it.
The perfect example was the one good question ABC asked her, it was about immigration. Kamala didn’t answer the question but instead pivoted to trumps rally’s and trump took the bait. It was so painful to watch. I was begging him not to take the bait and he took it hook line and sinker. It was so demoralizing.
And arguably he didn’t.
The unqualified headline doesn’t comport with the equivocation found in the first paragraph of the opinion piece.
I think Trump does better in situations such as this. It’s why he chose to be interviewed by the black journalists, which was one his best performances of the entire campaign. When the odds are stacked against him, he uses it to his advantage. He’s like an Aikido master. If he had friendlier moderators, he would have said more words, and he still would have won, but it wouldn’t be as memorable or effective.
Trump is a former President, so he doesn’t need to look Presidential... He is Presidential. Kamala’s job was to ‘look’ Presidential and she failed.
I think he does that as a way to expose the corruption and bias of the allegedly "objective" press. Much like he does with the Deep State and leftists in general, he make himself a target, and goads them into revealing how truly despicable and corrupt they are.

Are you kidding? Trump wrapped the immigration issue around her neck countless times.
As for the rallies, nothing wrong at all with how Trump responded. It took only seconds to get his point across and informed the uninformed that Harris had to bus in her supporters.
I have heard so many wizards of smart use the rally response as a fault in Trump’s responses.
What was Trump supposed to do when a lying charge was made? You don’t know that if you don’t answer a public lie, the public thinks the lie is the truth, since your silence means assent? As in Proverbs 26:5 - answer a fool according to his folly — a fool’s challenge has to be answered.

David Muir stated that Trump was elected in 2020!!!! We know from Biblical times that God can allow an ass to speak. God can confuse languages. God made an ass speak again! Rewind the tape and listen for yourselves. David spoke truth! President Trump should have been all over that at the start of the debate.
100% Trump won the debate, beyond a shadow of a doubt.
I agree he won. She looked like a petulant litigant on Judge Judy. She smirked, smiled, glared and held her chin. Her performance (with her unmuted microphone so she could interrupt Trump...) was childish and silly.
Separating the unchallenged nonsense from Harris out of the equation, yes, he won. The problem is that the general public and the media aren’t as easily or willing to do so.
Mark Levin was outstanding in his “take” on the “win”. He said it was for the Media and they needed something to promote and talk about as a victory. She had been unchallenged in anything, thus far and the Debate was a gift to her and the media. BY the media.
That said, Trump misfired on several opportunities to put her away.
