For the first time in weeks, former President Donald Trump pulled ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris in one of the most-watched national polls — raising the prospect that her momentum has fizzled out just ahead of their debate.
Trump edged out Harris 48% to 47% among likely voters nationally, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll.
Other polls have similarly begun to show the 45th president regaining ground against his rival now that the Democratic National Convention has wrapped up.

The polls showing a big were always fake. It was a response bias. Democrats were more excited and were eager to answer pollsters’ questions. People did not change their minds to any significant degree. Trump always led and still leads.
Agree, which is why Trump should not have been the nominee. He’s viscerally hated by an unwavering half of the country. Not a good recipe
I’m inclined to think that the campaign knows best how to use the resources available to them. There are professionals involved and it’s not like this is Trump’s first rodeo. As a third presidential campaign, he’s gathered some valuable experience.
What we would like to see is unimportant. We’re all going to vote for him anyway (well, maybe there are a few exceptions). It’s others than need to be reached and I think they probably know best how to do that.
The polls are distractors.
Trump is not running against Harris. Trump is running against the Democrat party vote fraud machine.
It is essential to prevent the Democrats from injecting fraudulent ballots into the counts. After the counts it is too late.
Have they ever discovered boxes of ballots that favored a Republican?
Ever?
Merit based elections are a thing of the past. Let’s just make sure you register someone to vote today. Do your part every day. Make aure on November 6th you don’t say, “If only I did more”
Shows us all how powerful Nate Silver’s predictive model is.
Trump simply doesn’t have the money that she does. She has outraised him 3-1.
Doylestown, Pennsylvania, which is normally the epicenter of white women liberalism is not showing many Harris signs.
Trump seems incapable of patiently explaining price caps, but Vance can.
Any candidate nominated by the Republicans would get the same sort of treatment.
Both Bushes and even Reagan were reviled by the leftists.
What generates the strong support Trump gets is that he’s a fighter. Many conservatives grew tired of Republicans rolling over and showing their bellies to the left.
Half the population will always hate anyone standing up for conservative values.
Close to half the country hates the other half of the country. That is the source of our problems.
Anybody that tries to fix that will be hated by a great many people.
Press on.
Kalamity - that’s what it will be if she’s installed.
“Donald Trump pulls ahead of Kamala Harris in major poll — a sign her campaign is fizzling - friends pulling Surrender Monkeys away from open windows - Oh the humanity!”
Trump is not running against Harris. Trump is running against the Democrat party vote fraud machine.

True...but he’s got something else to consider: Marchan.
I have this sick feeling that on Sept. 18, that little Commie is gonna throw the book at him and order him to be imprisoned immediately, with prejudice. So since it’s a state thing, I don’t know that the USSC can do anything about it.
And you know the media will scream incessantly “CONVICTED FELON! IN JAIL! CAN’T BE PRESIDENT!”
“Agree, which is why Trump should not have been the nominee. He’s viscerally hated by an unwavering half of the country. Not a good recipe”
It’s a fact that any Republican candidate would be hated by liberals and the vintage media. But Trump is hated by many Republicans, as well. Diehard Republicans will hold their noses and vote for Trump anyhow, but lukewarm ones will not.
It’s an unforced error which could cost Republicans the game.
Doylestown? No. It is Portland Oregon.
The media declared Biden the winner of the last debate... That phony narrative died right out of the gate because over 50 million people witnessed Biden’s obvious dementia impairment live.
Then DumbocRATS immediately started calling on Biden to resign... So when Harris blows it during this next debate, and her alcoholic induced dementia comes to the forefront... Who will Democrats turn to to take over for Kamala? Walz? Back to Biden? Or maybe Obama’s wife?
It will be fun to watch... Kamala will be declared the winner but people have eyes, ears and common sense... So it will be difficult to hoodwink over 50 million of them.
Oh yeah, because half the country just loved the Bushes, McCain and Romney. /s
I hope the polls stay in the accomplice mode and keep the race close, stressing the urgency of getting out and voting, even if it’s not convenient. If Trump gets too far ahead, people will slip into victory mode too soon.
