The German newspaper Bild on Friday revealed a secret Hamas document that it claims details the terrorist organization's war strategy and in particular it's plan for how to use the hostages it continues to hold in Gaza.

The document, which the newspaper claims was personally approved by Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, details the organization's strategy and emphasizes Hamas' intention to delay and stonewall, even if this results in the cancellation of the offers for a hostage deal and a ceasefire.

Among other things, it states that Hamas aims to exhaust Israel politically and militarily and has been acting to accomplish this for a long time.

At the same time, it was noted that Hamas works to exert psychological pressure on the families of the hostages in order to direct the spotlight of blame from the terrorist organization holding them to the Israeli government and cause heavy pressure to be put on it.

The document also states also noted that Hamas is prepared, at least declaratively, to allow the Red Cross organization to visit some of the hostages and deliver messages to their families as part of the second phase of the deal, with the aim of extending the ceasefire.

The document also details a strategy for psychological warfare in order to will convince the West to support Hamas's position. It states that Hamas strives to prevent the international community from seeing it as responsible for the failure of the negotiations...

It’s no secret. It’s obvious what they’re doing. Unfortunately, the media and the biden administration and other governments around the world and all of their terror-supporting useless idiots are falling exactly in line with the plans. Israel must hold fast and finish the job.

I have a feeling that Nancy Pelosi has authored a similar document about the J6 hostages. She hasn’t gotten so far, as her teeth keep coming out, but these hostages are being held for a reason, too.

Effeminate western leaders appeasing Islam by cravenly feeding Israel to it, piece by piece.

They do have a problem, and they want to sacrifice Israel to solve it: They want the crocodile to eat them last.

None of our business.

Dangerous interference in the affairs of foreign nations. George Washington would have been appalled.

In general, I approve of spheres of influence. Wilson’s vision of microstates based on ethnicity has led to a century of bloodshed. If Russia did in Mexico what we have done in Ukraine, we would have stormed the Heights of Chapultepec already.

But - Russia has to live with invoking the laws and usages of war. Wars are bloody and unpredictable. You can lose as well as win.

The less we have to do with it, though, the better.

How free a hand do you believe Netanyahu and Israel should have against Hamas and it’s “civilian” partners in crime?

How would you have resolved the situation wherein the Ukraine, freed of rule from Moscow, ended up in possession of Soviet-era nuclear weapons?

I do not believe that the United States government should interfere in this war either.

Of course, to the extent that it is true that Israel does not have a “free hand”, it is BECAUSE the United States IS interfering in this war, and as what is effectively a co-belligerent, the US has every right to influence Israeli policy to the extent that it affects our vital interests.

If I were President, I would tell Israel to go ahead and fight this 75-year old war to a conclusion if they are able to do so. But, like Russia in Ukraine, nations that choose the path of war, or who are compelled to fight as they see it, have to live with the results, win or lose.

I suspect that Israeli foreign and military policy would be different if the US Navy didn’t keep running over there during hostilities among the nations that exist in that region.

Israel has wisely been slowly and steadily been forging economic times and peaceful relations with it’s Middle East UN-recognized sovereign entity neighbors, to the point that Iran would never be able to touch Israel but for the U.S. (Donkey Party) presidents constantly and unaccountably putting unnecessary manicles and shackles and leg irons on the Knesset and IDF.

... economic ties...

As unlikely or simplistic as it may seem, Israel has also made huge homegrown technological advancements in desalination technology (seawater—>freshwater) that overnight has solved its periodic chronic shortages and allowed it to sell its excess in large quantities and at reasonable rates to its neighbors, creating substantial international good will. This goes a long way toward persuading those same neighbors to grant Israel the free hand it needs to protect itself absent U.S. interference.
