Students moved out to the stadium from the news chopper it appeared some were forming a prayer circle on the football field (WSB-TV).

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office said first responders were called to the scene at around 9:30 a.m. ET Wednesday to a reported active shooting.
The sheriff’s office reported that there were multiple victims at the scene.
One suspect is in custody.
The FBI and GBI are on the scene.
The shooting sent the school into a hard lockdown, evacuating the students to the school’s football stadium.

Students at the school are being released to their families.
Apalachee High School has nearly 1,900 students in grades 9-12.
The school is in the city of Winder, about 45 miles northeast of Atlanta.
Really sad. I watched the video of one student being placed into the helicopter and enlarged to get a good look. Head was bandaged up and the bandages were blood saturated. Very bad.

No word yet on the number of possible victims. However, a school shooting right before the upcoming election would seem to be arriving right on time.

Two dead teachers, two dead students, somewhere around 8 or 9 others wounded, according to various reports.

Shooter is a 14 year old student at the school. When confronted by school security team he immediately surrendered without resistance.
GBI said he will be tried as an adult.
