Former Congresswoman and Trump ally Tulsi Gabbard went on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Dana Bash on Sunday to discuss President Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery.
President Trump visited Arlington Cemetery with Gold Star Families on the anniversary of the Kabul bombing that killed 13 US servicemembers.
Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal in August 2021 led to the death of 13 US servicemembers and many more wounded.
Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and the fake news media shamelessly attacked President Trump for honoring the Gold Star families.

she plumb forgot how during the harris/walz interview
Bash Dana. In her teeth. Repeatedly, with the baseball bat of truth.
She is vile disease-spreading excrement, that one.
Tulsi left Dana stammering and stuttering. Well played!
Could not have said it better myself.
bash is narrow minded as an earthworm
Dana Bash should NEVER have been allowed to moderate a presidential debate. She’s a partisan hack. She represents the left. She hates anyone who is center right. Imagine walking into a courtroom and seeing her as your judge. She is the epitome of bias.
“The question is about the federal law and Arlington’s rules that prohibit partisan or political activities at National cemeteries…”
Another example of the two tiered justice system on display. Every time a Democrat politician visits Arlington the purpose is to enhance their political career. Kamala is obviously complaining because Trump’s visit makes her look bad.
I like the way you think.
never understand how Bash has a job on camera. She cant read a teleprompter, struggles to put a single sentence together without annoying, dumb struck pauses, and shes def nothing to look at. And for the love of God, would somebody, ANYBODY just call out her blatant, left wing bias to her face. She knows damn well those Gold Star families invited Trump to Arlington. She also knows this makes Harris and Biden look bad. Yet nobody will tell her off to her face.
Not even. The Trump campaign asked for and received permission to take photos and video. The person who interfered was acting on his own. The democrats are simply lying about the whole thing, as usual.
It’s interesting that Trump and his team were challenged at Arlington for breaking federal law, prior to his campaign ever posting video from the event. Never mind that the photographer(s) were invited at the direction of the Gold Star families, the lady on site who tried to stop the filming couldn’t have known that the video would be posted by Trump’s campaign so how could she claim at the time that it was violating Arlington’s restrictions on political activity? Even if you want to argue that posting video later on is a political activity, simply filming is not a political activity.
Trump Slammed for Laying Wreath at Arlington [semi-satire]

This week former President Donald Trump laid a wreath at the graves of the 13 soldiers killed during the Biden Administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021. He was there at the invitation of the grieving family members and had the permission of current House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La).
Darin Hoover, whose son Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover died in Afghanistan, said “President Trump didn’t come to us. His team didn’t come to us and say, hey, this would be good for business. Business? No. President Trump has stood by us from day one. He has been compassionate. He has been loving. He’s been understanding. To be quite honest with you, we haven’t heard diddly squat from the current administration in three years.”
The US Army issued a stark rebuke saying “well, they’re hearing from the Administration right here and now. This was an illegal campaign event. Army regulations and DoD policies clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds.” NPR commentator Quil Lawrence echoed the Army’s complaint, asserting that “Trump’s actions were an intrusion and usurpation of a power reserved for the Commander-in-Chief, which Trump isn’t.”
Trump explained “I wasn’t trying to preempt President Biden or Vice-President Harris from exercising their privilege to honor these fallen soldiers. I was told both declined the opportunity. Joe was getting a much needed second week of rest from his grueling 45 minute speech at the Democrat convention. Kamala was busy bringing joy and unity to America in a series of campaign events. As the former Commander-in-Chief I was happy to step into the breach and pay some respect to these heroes. The families seemed to appreciate my efforts.”
Veteran, Lucas O’Hara, who spent three years during his time in the military assigned at the Arlington, said “I have witnessed over 75 wreath laying ceremonies performed by politicians and conducted 524 funerals in this cemetery. What I got to witness on August 26 was the most respectful and solemn ceremony I have seen. There were no speeches, no angles, no weird photo ops just our elected officials and the 45th President respectfully and solemnly honoring the fallen and their families.”
Who in the Army? I doubt the rank and file are upset with Trump.
How does one get the volume of “X” to proceed in listening?
It’s muted, with no volume icon appearing.
The memorial site of Flight 93 at Shanksville, PA has been visited by all.
But, of course, it wasn’t for political purposes.

Dana Bash just crashed! News at 11!
According to Tom Cotton, on his interview today with ‘Meet The Press’ (which I highly recommend watching, BTW) The New York Times contacted families of some of the fallen whose headstones were peripherally included in the photographs from the event, to see if they were offended. They found one family who somewhat objected to their family member’s headstone being in the photograph. But even their concerns, such as they were, were very mild and didn’t make any direct criticism of President Trump.
Acts 7:
57. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58. And cast him out of the city, ...
