Although the causes are complex, many of todayโs problems can be traced back to choices made in drafting the Constitution, choices that are increasingly haunting us. After 200 years, it is time to begin thinking of drafting a new Constitution to create a more effective, more democratic government.

Well, you know
We’d all love to change your head

The problem is not that the Constituion is flawed; but rather, that it’s neither observed, nor enforced.

We effectively would have already thrown out the Constitution, if we were to always go by the decisions of Democrat Judges. Their decisions are generally totally devoid of any Constitutional reasoning. Read the dissenting opinions of Sotomayor for example. They largely contain no reference to the Constitution.
The fact that the author of this article is Erwin Chemerinsky, the Dean of the U of Cal Berkeley Law School, proves the point.

Chemerinsky is a far left radical azhole. The constitution was obviously “flawed” in his divine intellect from the day it went into effect. he’s perfectly comfortable with the Judiciary “making” law and believes the 2nd amendment should be thrown out en toto.
He’s always been a charter member of the Lawrence Tribe wing of legal rationality.

Better idea:
Amend the one we already have.
An Amendment is passed by both Houses of Congress
Then it’s passed onto the 50 state legislatures
Get 38 of them to agree (or is it 39?) and it becomes the law of the land.
